I had the opportunity to try Sparta's in Embrun. Very friendly staff and very efficient with timing. The vinaigrette in the... salad was amazing and the tzatziki was on point! Meat is flame-grilled, tender and juicy. Rice was fluffy and light. Salad was fresh and dressing was delicious. Potatoes and... tzatziki complimented the platter perfectly. Food is 10/10 and price is surprisingly reasonably. Highly recommended! Read more
Very refreshing food. Call ahead as it's a bit of a wait for walk in, only 20 min though (understandably as seems as they aren't... preparing ahead of time but cook the souvlaki fresh). For people complaining it's only 1 skewer, look at the skewer, it's packedfrom one end to the other, it's at least one whole chicken breast if not more. I'm full, we will be back. The best take out in Russell/Embrun. About time! I ordered the chicken souvlakii family combo, so my review will be based in... this. The chicken was well seasoned and cooked well. The rice was cooked perfectly and also seasoned well. The salad wasfresh and crisp and had the perfect amount of vinegrette in it. The Tzatziki sauce was mild but good. My only complaint wasthe potatoes which were slightly undercooked and dry but seasoned well. Overall I will be returning here frequently. Ordered for the first time in Embrun and was a bit disappointed of the change in management. Serving size is much smaller. Beef... or chicken on skewer and very small pieces and 3 small half potatoes. The price is the same as the previous Caesar Palace butnot as good quality and certainly not big a plate. I don't think we will be reordering from here as it didn't meet ourexpectations. Read more
