Currently writing this review wearing elastic pants as I am thanksgiving level stuffed. Where do I begin? The service is... amazing. Beyond attentive and friendly. Atmosphere is definitely the sports bar but a really clean and fun one. Now, for thefood. Soooooo good. We ordered the voodoo onion rings and the spiral tators for the appetizers. My wife and I took a very last minute trip to emerald isle and after a day on the beach we were excited to try out the local... food. We looked up dog friendly restaurants and the first 2 we went to weren't very "friendly" and the next 3 were absolutelypacked. I happened to find this one while we were in our way out of town and I wish I'd seen this place first. The hostess wasincredibly nice and although they were busy, our server came right out, I wish I could remember her name, but she saw mesweating and turned the fans on and pointed it right at me, I was sold then, she took our drunk order and even brought my puppyher own cup of water. She was knowledgeable of the menu, which by the way was very reasonably priced, and her service wasimpeccable. I was a little worried that the prices would produce small portions, so I was pleasantly surprised when our ordercame out with very generous portions that were cooked perfectly. Wonderful dining experience. We arrived around 4:30 and were seated immediately. The service was prompt, and the food was... delivered faster than some drive-thru experiences I've had. And about the food--my son and I split the grilled cheese burger,and I have to say--it's one of the best burgers I've ever had. EVER. The rest of my family enjoyed their meals aswell. Was very busy when we went. Was surprised server came to take our drink order right away. Got onion rings and the three... different kinds of dry rub wings they have. Server kept us up to date with the food. It didn't take long to come out. Foodwas wonderful. Wings cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend. Read more
Nothing great nothing bad. Calamari was very salty but the crab cakes were delicious. Cheap drinks and the fried chicken salad... was good! Waitress never checked on us or came back with the bill so we had to ask a guy working there and he cashed us out Read more
This is a great sports bar. Lots of atmosphere. A TV screen in each booth. Service was prompt and attentative. A large and... varied menu. I had boneless chicken wings. Nice crunchy crust. Not breaded. I had teriyaki sauce and it was delicious. Wewill return. UPDATE: We came into Emerald Isle on a Thursday evening and arrive at the restaurant around 7:15. We didn'trealize that it was Trivia night. The place was packed. As usual, the service was great. Our server, Kate was fantastic andconstantly checking on us. I ordered a cheeseburger. The menu described it as an 8 oz pattie. What I got was 2 thin hamburgersthat about the size of a standard McD burger. So done, cutting them was like cutting leather. I told Kate about this, and, toher credit, she asked if I wanted a discount. I refused the discount. I told her maybe they had run out of burgers, she saidthat was a possibility. However, she should have told me that on the front in. We will give the restaurant another try. If itturns out again like our last visit, we won't return. Read more
The seared ahi tuna appetizer was delicious (mind the Sriracha!) and arrived quickly. The crab cake sandwich and blackened tuna... sandwich were both cooked just right - the tuna had plenty of rareness to it! Friendly and prompt service. Great food! Probably the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Fantastic service! Jeff the bartender was very personable and... quick. Very nice atmosphere. Everything seems very clean and new. Definitely recommend and I'm for sure going back. Read more
