Always great food & worth the wait. I was in Jacksonville visiting my son & his family. My Grandson (6) and I had a day to... ourselves and drove out to the beach & had lunch before going to the aquarium. This is one of our favorite spots to eattogether. We always select a spot on the wall, so we can watch the ocean and the people on the beach. I always picked the loadedtot nachos but I have to say - my grandson LOVES the grilled cheese. He finally shared with me this time - I can see why it'shis favorite. The toast is perfectly buttered, and crisp. When you bite into it's grilled to perfection, then you taste it! Theflavor is incredible (I found out they use their shrimp seasoning on the toast ????); seasoned to excellence and multiple justthe right amount of cheese. It will be hard not to order one the next time I visit. And, don't forget their great drinks -including some new selections this season! Read more
We went here because my brother in law wanted seafood while we were in town and some locals suggested the place to us. We waited... over an hour to get in which isn?t crazy in my opinion. Nice size room all together, big man approved seating options! I got thegrouper platter and it was my first time having grouper and it was delicious! I had never had a hush puppy with corn in it whichwas very good! I would definitely recommend it for people vacationing in the area! The food was great and the views from the restaurant are superb! Our waitress, who I believe was Ashley, was THE sweetest thing.... She was patient and kind to my grandfather who was at a fish restaurant and didn't like fish. She helped him figure out what toeat and took very good care of us up to the end of our visit. We'll go again when we travel that way next! Read more
Nice spot on the water! We sat at the window, so we had a great view of the pier and ocean. We had the cheeseburger and chicken... tenders and both were great! Service was also very friendly and quick. Read more
Popular spot to enjoy a snack and refreshments with a bonus view. They have a really nice, long pier, with lots of people... walking around, taking pics enjoying the view and fishing. I loved this place because it has a really pretty view. You can enjoya quick bite and drinks. This was our first time and we got the nachos. The place is quite popular on weekends so be prepared towait in line. It didn't take long for them to sit us though. They have a souvenir store right next to the restaurant. Read more
Nice atmosphere and cool decor. It is a large, open dining hall. I had the garlic flat iron steak. Very tasty, tender and... perfectly cooked. My wife had a salad with grilled shrimp. The portions of each were large with more shrimp than typicallyserved. My wife said the shrimp were perfectly cooked and the seasoning used was delicious. I would have given 5 stars but forthe plastic utensils and plates. Go here, I don't think you will be disappointed. Read more
Yummy fresh squeezed cocktails. Some welcome healthier additions to the menu. Overlooking the pier and ocean, you can't beat the... view. Pleasant, chill ambiance - and one of the few places open for lunch in the winter. Read more
We stopped here on our way to Morehead City, where we were going to stay. We had some very cold beers and an appetizer of... potatoes with bacon and cheese, delicious. It is very well located, with incredible views of the ocean. It is a restaurantwith a very original and comfortable decoration. It was pretty busy and the waitress took a while to serve us, but we weren'tin a hurry so it wasn't a big deal. From the restaurant you can go out to the pier. We did not pay for parking since therewere no prices or machines to do so. I recommend this place. Read more
