Stopped here on a Sunday night around dinner time on the way back to Kansas City. Kitchen was completely TRASHED. Like, I?ve... worked at a frozen custard place when I was in high school and it does get messy fast, but if you keep up with cleaning it?sfine. But this kitchen looked disguising. Food and toppings spilled all over the counters and floors, and some foods (likebrownies and bananas) left open and exposed on the counters. Service was extremely slow. I would say maybe they were low onemployees but there would probably 6-7 people working at the time. It seemed like maybe they were prioritizing the drive thruservice over the in store service but I?m not totally sure. But the employees were friendly and I feel for them. I waited an extra 15 minutes for ?fresh food? to be handed cold soggy french fries, and chicken strips. I am completely fine... waiting the extra time for fresh food! Not to be waiting around for cold food, while the people cooking are sitting on theirphones. Get good. Read more

My wife and I stopped on our way home from KC for an snack. We ordered one combo meal and was offered a fountain drink or a... shake. I asked if we could get water with our meal and then get the shake later. I gal at the register said yes and then gaveus a small drink cup and said the water was at the soda dispenser. After the meal my wife and I was looking over the ice creamfor our shakes. My wife asked this same gal if the German chocolate ice cream had coconut. We were told no just chocolate andnuts. So my wife ordered a German chocolate shake and I asked what size of shake came with our meal. This gal (the same onewho took our meal order) looked at the receipt and said I didn't put it down as a shake. I told her to just forget it. Afterwe left and started eating the one shake we bought we found out that this German chocolate (just like other German chocolate)does have coconut. Just be aware! Read more
My first visit. Really really liked the quarter pounder. Tasted different than most fast food joints. I realized it wasn't... full of salt like all the others. Thanks Braum's. Next time I'll start down the incredible ice cream list. Read more
Passing through to get to Wichita and decided to get lunch. We like Braums and have visited many. We came at one, not sure if it... was after their lunch rush but the seating area was a bit messy and the staff seemed tired. Not the friendly greeting we usuallyget. The food was alright. Not to impressed with this location. One of the staff was cleaning up the dining area finally butonly the floor didn?t seem to care about tables. Read more
First let me say, my previous experiences have been good since 2016. Placed a drive-thru order for a California everything... bagel to try something new for me and biscuits and gravy for my husband. Window person seemed new and trying. He was verypolite. We weren't asked which protein for the bagel. It was a new item for us. Sausage by default (as we discovered uponasking when order was handled to us at window #2, although the corp picture indicates something like ham. We asked if we couldget one with bacon. We explained we weren't asked, and if we could, we would like to have bacon. The sandwich was retrieved andthe sometime later returned, bagel and wrapper (interior and exterior) a complete mess of avocado/guacamole? Everywhere. At thatpoint, requested a refund. Would it been too difficult to just make a new sandwich, or at least change the wrappers? It wasobvious that the sausage was extracted from the sandwich and bacon added to same sandwich by the mess all over the top of thebagel and the outside of the wrapper. It may have changed, but i was taught after food goes out the window, it can't bereserved. At the very least, trying to clean up the sloppy mess the avocado mixture made, would have helped. Lady Managerappeared very apologetic (as if she was frightened). Side note, we were being patient, not yelling, just trying to explain soshe would understand why a refund. We appreciate those who work in the food service industry and try to express kindness withevery encounter. Tip always. Call in to Management to let them know when we have good+ customer service. At that point, I lostthe desire to try the bagel, or fight all the avocado smear and I did not want my husband to eat cold biscuits and gravy afterthat; nor having to have a new bagel made lengthening my husband's wait for his breakfast (not offered). It was good. This is about the 4th or 5th time here. Usually, it is an awesome experience. This time the majority of the staff... was great except the lady doing the drive-thru. Granted the place was swamped due to the high school football championship beingplayed at the university. So they were out of at least carbonation, milk to make milkshakes, and ketchup. I know things were notgoing as planned but that is when you stop being a supervisor(?) and become a leader. The food was great and the ice creamthat was substituted was great. A little longer wait time, but again a lot more people than usual. We will try it again the nexttime we are traveling through the area. Read more
