Fast. Friendly. You order from table or kisosk, don't expect full service. I like it, minimal interaction, prompt service. ????... I've worked through most of the menu and it's always been well made and fresh. We sneak here from work. Just make sure you tellyour significant other you're sneaking out, or they might catch you there when they sneak out. ???? It's a great Emporia optionthat you'd expect to find in a bigger city. Was kind of second guessing myself over the place. Walk in very nice. Had to order of my phone or a kiosk(did not really like... that). Then the food came and it was amazing. We always get great sushi here. The chef is great. The fish is always fresh. It's one of our favorites in e-town!

I can now see why this restaurant has five star rating. It's absolutely delicious! Fresh and superior ingredients, excellent... customer service and a beautiful eating environment. This is a huge step in the right direction for Emporia. It also has a bararea where you can sit with someone or by yourself and watch the big screen TV. This restaurant is beautifully decorated withlots of character and history. If you've never had sushi or Japanese Cuisine do yourself a favor and come to Shangri-La Sushiand teriyaki. Excellent English-speaking waitresses can guide you and advise you where to begin and walk you through theprocess. Keep in mind it's not all about raw fish, it's about Japanese Cuisine. They even gave us forks just in case we couldn'tuse the chopsticks. We didn't need the forks but I thought it was awesome display of teamwork resulting in a delicious culinaryexperience. Read more
