I visited Chipotle's new location on Wednesday, 11/16/2022 at around 4:12pm at 242 No. El Camino Real where the old Burger King... used to be. I must say that I was surprised that the dining area and floors were not clean. Also, the beans and meat containerswere pretty empty and looked very dry as if they had been sitting there for hours. Not very appetizing to look at. I almostwalked out. I have always been impressed with the other location that closed down the street. That location was always clean andeverything looked freshly made with friendly staff and a smile. I decided to give it a try anyway and chose the Carnitas Burritosince that seemed the least dry. While Simon (who was very polite) prepared my burrito, I noticed a man in the kitchen workingand preparing food. What totally surprised me was that he had this "Santa Claus-like beard" with no cover or mask. The beardwas long and I feel that if he's handling food, maybe he should cover it up. Does Chipotle have a policy for employees who havelong facial hair? I also saw an employee (a young girl with very short hair) who sneezed very loud and did not cover her mouth.Against my better judgement, I still paid for my burrito and yes, Simon did upsell (which he should) by asking if I wanted chipsand guacamole. He was very polite and treated me well. I did eat my burrito and it was tasty. I'm just not sure if I want tocome back to this new location. Too many red flags for my taste. I don't want to make this review sound negative but I mustshare the obvious. Perhaps the Manager can take better care of his new location. Thank you. Read more
