The vegan Thai food at Plum is excellent! We got take out and had a 15 minute drive to get home, but the food was still piping... hot. The flavors were great and not overboard on the spicy side, because my wife is sensitive to spicy food. The dining area nowhas a larger feel, and very contemporary. Definitely a place we will come back to often. Read more

Love!!! ?? I had the Tom Ka Soup, crispy rolls and Thai Iced Tea. All were super tasty! The crispy rolls are vegan which is... kinda hard to come by if you eat plant-based. ???? The menu is has a nice variety but is also simple, and it?s easy to decipherwhich items/dishes are vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free. Lovely place to dine, warm, clean, cozy and inviting, and the staffand service is great. Will definitely be back! Read more

We've been here twice now. Everything was great. It's not overly sweet garlic and onion flavors like many thai places. You can... really taste all the different flavors and the spices just pop. Pumpkin curry and green curry were both amazing and theeggplant was mellow and mouth watering. One of the best papaya salads I have had at a vegetarian place. I really appreciatethis place. Finally a decent Thai restaurant in downtown Encinitas. The slow and long decline of Siamese basil was painful. Thankfully plum... has come along and brought tasty quality food back. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, and the food was very good. The portions seemed on the smaller side compared to many other Thai restaurants. The interior is sparse and varied with avariety of seating options including chairs with wooden backs and bottoms, wicker chairs and a double bench, and hirustic-looking bar chairs for a center Island. With the exception of one wall and an antique Style doorway, the lack ofdecoration on the White Walls was glaring. Read more

I thoroughly enjoyed the spicy Thai options: Spicy Noodle (with vegan duck), Spicy Basil (with veggies) and a Spicy Ginger Tea.... Great food and a great price for dinner! I wish I left room for their vegan cake... it looked delicious. Read more
