If I could give them zero stars I would. They were extremely rude. I ordered $75 worth of takeout and they didn't put bread or... utensils in the bag. When I went to pick it up I asked for bread they said I needed to pay $1. for each packet of their bread. Which makes no sense...because if I was sitting there for dinner they don't charge for bread....but whatever I wound up paying$3 for the bread and no one bothered to even thank me. The place has good atmosphere. Food is ok. Price is ok. But nothing to shout for. Service was ok too. I love italian food, this... didnt make the cut. Sorry!! Read more

The most delicious, garlicky Arrabiata sauce. Had a drink and an app, fried calamari, which was really good, while waiting for... the hubs to get out of a meeting. Nice little Italian joint with great service. Their wine and beer pours are a bit sus orshall I say, short but it wouldn?t stop me from coming here. I?ll just order a bottle next time to get my monies worth. Willdefinitely return. Read more

7/17/2021 Important to please note that his review has nothing to do with the Maria's as a whole, and I really hate to leave a... poor review for Maria's Italian Kitchen since we have been loyal customers for decades. West Los Angeles at first and since, myfamily and I have always gone out of our way to find a Maria's location when wanting great Italian food. However this eveningwhen my wife and I walked into the Encino restaurant at 8.30 we were greeted by a rather displeasing young woman whose initialgreeting was were closing a 9.00 PM. I was somewhat taken back but maybe she had a long day, so I chose to just ignore thecomment. We then sat inside where we realized it was incredibly cold. There was only one other couple at another table. I askedthe same young woman if she could warm it up a touch, and we were curtly told that it needed to be cold for health reasons. Wethen moved to the small outdoor patio which was great. The server was very impatient for us to order and my wife wanted a coupleof minutes to read the menu. When we decided to order the Parmigiana we were informed it would take 15-20 minutes. I looked atmy watch and asked what happens if it's after nine and were here, do we have to leave? Her response was a rude "YES" At thatpoint I requested her name which she was not quick to respond but she told me it was Melissa. We then got up and went to anotherrestaurant close by, where we were greeted warmly. I am aware that servers are difficult to come by these days, but so are loyalcustomers! To many other options to put up with this kind of attitude. Will certainly continue to patronize Maria's but not atthis location for sure. Read more
Location in Ventura blvd perfect place to be relax and dining. Restaurant has nice architecturing set up. Staff nice... professionals. The food and taste that I tried in my visit ok. Read more
Lunch special deal is good, I add the table bread they offer for $1 with oil & vinegar. There is a few free parking spots in... the back. I enjoy coming here. Read more
