BEST MEAL EVER! Oh my gosh, every single course was so delicious. I?ve never loved a meal as much as this one. I can?t stop... thinking about it even weeks later. The good: Quaint speakeasy setting in a back room. Beautiful food presentations. Delicious courses. Impeccable service. The... bad: When you are more than halfway into the tasting menu and you feel like you've only had appetizers, that's a problem. I washungry after the meal so my friend and I drove to an In-N-Out on Ventura Blvd. So be prepared to spend an extra $10 on a burger,fries and shake to feel satisfied. Read more

I can not say enough about the service or attention to detail from the well executed negroni made to my specifications with an... alternative to Campari Sirene), dry vermouth & grapefruit slice to the delicious amuse bouche & homemade bread. My favorite(not photographed) was the sea bass & also the cavetelli en brodo (uzo) with scallops. Served to perfection in a short, wideglass (pictured). My husband and I came to Pasta Bar for our first time last night and we couldn?t have been happier. The space is beautiful, the... pairings were perfect and the service could not have been better. There were so many dishes that we loved. The entire meal feltlike a musical crescendo with the last pairing as the peak in the meal. We loved every minute of it. We will definitely be back. Read more

This is the only review I?ve written that I don?t want to post pictures of because I don?t want to give anything away, but the... two that I did post were my favorite dishes of the night. Every dish was exciting, challenging, indulgent, refreshing, inspired,and interactive with the chefs and sommelier making sure that you?re taken care of every step of the way. They made sure theentire menu was balanced with a bit of pasta throughout the menu instead of one large plate you might find somewhere else. I sawthe entire team beautifully, intricately, and attentively create each dish for us in front of us and they do so much more behindthe scenes ahead of your reservation. Booked an appointment online and paid $50 deposit on it. Cannot attend the meal because of emergency , no one called one day... before or at least send a reminder message. $300 more were taken out from credit card for even we didn?t go. If u want to dothat, next time ask for 400 deposit . Don?t do this trick . Very dishonest action. Going to dispute the charge throughcredit card company. I?m not paying for something I didn?t use.
