I'm only giving this high of a rating because Jesse was a nice server. Otherwise, the food was mediocre at best. There's nothing... super fresh on the menu, other than salad. Other than that, it's bread, pasta, and pizza. Bread, sauce, cheese and no relief.The interior design also made me feel like I walked through 3 different restaurants before I was finally seated. Heard how good it was, the food. Stopped in to order 4 pizzas and 3 "family" serve orders and was looking forward to homemade... and being back. Unfortunately, they need to hire a bartender or Manager, can't do both, empty bar for a long time multipletimes(behind) and customers were going to "serve themselves" which was uncomfortable. We always love coming here. Where we were sitting was hot near the kitchen, so they accommodated us and moved us to a different... room. The pizza was delicious as always, and our server was as sweet as could be. One of the best places in the Binghamton area. Read more
We use to love going to Consol's. Went there today and the service was top notch as always. Our server was super friendly and... fast on her feet with an amazing attitude. Unfortunately that's where things went down hill. We ordered the Meatball appetizerexpecting it to be as good as we always had pre COVID-19. The first meatballs were burnt and super dry with way to much salt.The 2nd set of Meatballs were ice cold and still slightly burnt. It's almost like they were leftover from last night. My wife'sGnocchi was really good as usual, but my Shrimp Scampi lacked seasoning and had zero sauce. We were quite disappointed. Luckilyour server was the best and tried to help us as much as possible. If it wasn't for her and the greeter I'd have given Consol'sonly 2 stars. Maybe tonight was just an off day for them. Very friendly and helpful waitress, a lot of different seating options. The pizza was great, a very tomatoey tarty sauce and... super crispy crust that isn't too thin. The alfredo sauce was kinda buttery, maybe could be a bit more cheesey. The vodka sauceis amazing! Read more
Home made spaghetti was a plus.... regular sauce... tasted like plain tomato paste....no meat. Rigatoni with Vodka sauce was... filling....large portion. Have had better Italian than this. Service was quick. Atmosphere reminds me of restaurants back in the50's. We are in Little Italy...will try some place else next time. Read more
Ordered 2 pizza’s and a Chicken Parm dinner along with meatballs for sides. Chicken Parm was dry, hardly any sauce on it. ... Pasta was Al Dante along with hardly any sauce. The first pizza was suppose be extra sauce which was hardly any sauce, prettydry if you ask me. The 2nd pizza was Extra cheese with half pepperoni and the other half sausage & onion which there was noonion on it. Meanwhile the pizzas were done before the dinner. We had to wait at least 15 minutes until the Chicken parm wasdone so the pizzas were cold. Took the pizza back in and told them the one didn’t have onion so they threw a couple pieces onand put in the oven which still came out pretty raw. No offer to make another one, finally just asked for the money back onthat pizza. Awful food anymore… nothing taste like it use to when other people were there running it. Will never goback!!!!
