Friendly people and great customer service. We had 3 toddlers and we needed rice bowl for them which was not in the menu. Chef... was kind enough to try our recipe and wow kids loved it. The photo is the dish for kids and we would recommend to add it in yourkids menu ???? We all enjoyed all the various food we ordered. Why 4 star is I felt the gulab jamun was a frozen one. However wewould come again for The Taste of Bengal!! Read more

Lamb curry - friend said it was delicious and so good Garlic naan - the naan itself was cooked to perfection, but the garlic... pieces still had a sharp bite to them. They could have been cooked more to really get the flavor onto the naan. Butter chicken- run far far away. This was truly and utterly the most upsetting part of it all. The sauce had no resemblance to butterchicken; it was broken and swimming in oil (check the fork to see how the oil sat); and it had no flavor. It was really, reallybad. Portions - honestly did not merit the price. We didn't get a FULL receptacle of the entree, AND also had it shared withlettuce/tomato (which we did not order). The veggies significantly cut into the portions. Again, had this been a $10 meal, it'dbe no problem because it's like a lunch special. But this is not a full sized entree. Read more

One of the best desi food place. Food portion is good and taste very fresh. Perfect balance of spices.

Authentic and delicious. This is an unexpected find. Authentic Bangladeshi food is different from Indian food. This place keeps... that distinction in their flavors. Many of the dishes closely resembles home cooked food in Bangladesh. No gimmicks or overuseof spices to fool your taste buds. I was not expecting this from The Taste of Bengal. Well done, keep it up, I will stop byagain. Read more

The samosa chatt is AMAZING! You HAVE to try it!!!! So delicious, with so many bright flavors! I got a bunch of food for... takeout, and overall everything was great, but to me the samosa chatt was definitely the star of the show. Read more

After a 3 hour workout, I was starving looking for something ethnic to stuff my face and feel full which led me to this... place. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the gentleman working the bar. He was very warm, inviting, andaccommodating. The restaurant has a very cozy feel to it, great place to bring a date. I ordered chicken Tikka masala, garlicnaan, tea, and a mango lassi which came to $22. Quite pricey for one but I didn't feel cheated. My food was delivered quicklyhot off the stove. Very large portions so I got exactly what I was looking for but the food did leave a bit to desire flavorwise. The chicken wasn't tender as I wanted... I felt like sometimes it was chewy and it was fighting me back from being chewedlol. The masala sauce lacked spice. The garlic naan was kinda dry. The food wasn't bad at all, just didn't blow my mind. Allin all, great place with good food. I'll be back. Read more
