My partner Heather and I were happily able to finally visit and order some chicken from this newly opened Enfield, CT location... that opened up last Thursday Nov 10th 2022. We both love Popeye's food and service. The reviewer who gave this place 1 starobviously doesnt realize that it JUST opened up and every place that's new that opens up will have kinks to work out. But for mypartner and I we tried it and ordered 2 Big boxes that had 2 things of chicken and they came with biscuits and some sides. Weboth had 2 things of Mac and cheese and fries......for us at least we thought the service was excellent and the drive throughwent very fast. No major issues. And the guy at the window when we went there at 8:30pm on a Sunday night November 13th 2022 wassuper nice and had a nice smile and was very polite. Don't know his name but excellent service. Also the food was awesome. Hotand the Mac and cheese and the biscuits were perfect and tasted great. We plan to be back soon. I'm from Enfield and couldn'twait to try this location out. No regrets here. Worth every penny. Small update: went back to Popeyes at this Enfield CTlocation on Nov 22 on a Monday night between 8pm and 830pm I believe and ordered a set of 2 2-piece combo chicken meals and alarge Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. One for me and my partner. Drive through at night took a few mins to get through butgot our meals and everything was excellent. All these 1 star reviews are people who expect too much from a place that literallyJUST opened and only been open since Nov 10th 2022. You're going to have hiccups and trial and error. You can't expectperfectness from a fast food place as soon as it opens. Not going to happen. People sound very impatient and rude and expect toomuch. Give this new Popeyes location a chance. Things won't always be 100% perfect all the time. But for some people that's toomuch to ask for. Read more
The drive thru was about a 29 minute wait. Got home to discover the order was incorrect. I ordered breasts and wings, all white... meat and I got legs and thighs. How do chicken experts not know what white meat is. Typical for the urbanites working there!!!! Read more

Waited half an hour for my food . The #1 chicken sandwich was very salty . The mashed potatoes had no flavor at all. The only... decent thing was the biscuit. Read more
Customer service was a 4 star rating. I came during lunch time (knew the wait would be awhile) spent 18-20mins in the drive-thru... line. After receiving our food, they forgot to add in our order of Mac & cheese (I went back inside to get it), they had me pullup to wait for my tenders (not a big deal) but before pulling forward they didn't give us our drinks so I mentioned we hadn'tgotten our drinks (we were handed our drinks). Once we got home and began eating, the chicken was very rubbery, the Mac & cheesewas way too greasy & the French fry's were cold. I wouldn't recommend going during a rush. We will give it another shot whenit's less busy and update the review from that experience. Read more
The food I'm sorry but cold and too thick of cheese on Mac and not a lot of flavor. But service is okay so they get a star for... that. the picture is the hard cold cheese! Read more

I ordered a 12 piece chicken box with only dark meat. I got 12 pieces of the rattiest looking chicken I have ever seen and it... wasn't what I asked for. I requested extra jelly for my biscuits. I got the jelly and no biscuits. It wouldn't have been so badbut there wasn't much of a line, and the DT cashier seemed amused that I got all that jelly. To bad I didn't get any biscuits togo with it. I paid $20 for chicken I can't possibly eat. Just terrible. Read more
