As the world opens up post pandemic, it's such a pleasure to rediscover great restaurants. And all of THOSE experiences put the... execrable service and abysmal experience of eating at this "restaurant" in perspective. Let me say: the waitstaff is doing anadmirable job keeping folks happy despite an overwhelmed, under supplied and, perhaps, incompetent kitchen. But we came at5:45pm on a Saturday. We were immediately told that they didn't have half their menu and their kitchen was "behind". An hour and40 minutes later, we left having been served cold food that was delayed because of a tofu sandwich, apparently. Just really,really bad. Philly cheese steaks were very dry and had very little flavor. The salad was OK but also tasted bland and lacked the proper... amount of dressing. Server forgot to fill up my water and for the 20% paid I feel like the service we got was subpar. You cantell the sandwiches were sitting under a heat lamp for quite some time. I have visited this restaurant often, I love the philosophy and the food is always good. On my most recent visit I had the... signature Burger. It was overcooked and unseasoned. I would expect more from a $17 burger. The berry crumble dessert also wasgood but cloyingly sweet. I may need to find another place. Read more
Brilliant innovative restaurant. Greenhouse on the roof & hydroponic growing room as well. Growing ingredients on site? Amazing!... I had a falafel gyro which was delicious. Rest of our group enjoyed their meals as well. Large coffee & tea menu. Read more
Delicious food, lovely outdoor dining area, rooftop greenhouse, retro looks, organic products. Outstanding! I can’t tell you... how much I love Grow + Gather. It makes me so happy every time we come for takeout or to simply have a kombucha on the patio inthe sun. They also have very cool hydroponic lettuces and other greens growing inside. This place was just ok. The food was very pricey but lacked overall flavor. My bf did really like the bacon salad, however mine... left a lot to be desired (the farmer salad? (Maybe)) The ambiance and what this place is trying to achieve is awesome, and I’dsupport it just for that. This made paying the 20% included gratuity and overall high prices feel ok. We are visiting, but Idon’t think I’d come back very often if I was local. Coffee was really yummy!! Read more
