I totally forgot about this little place after covid, they really do have the best green Chile in Denver; they let you choose... the spice level and the pork is tender. The ceciche was fresh and was served in a large portion; nonetheless chips and salsawere plentiful and the house salsa had a nice heat to it. Flautas were warm and crunchy and served with plate of sides such asguacamole, rice, and beans. Popped in for lunch and had a rather dissapointing experience. Our appetizer never came. Our water wasn't refilled. I had... French Onion Soup and salad, which were ok. Nothing wrong just not anything to write about. My friend had salad with sushi onit and it was very colorful with several different types of fruit. They apparently have happy hour during the week from 2-6 witha handful of apps and house drinks on special. A small outdoor sitting area is available. Inside was clean. Overall it has atrendy, casual, chill vibe. Portions were decent, but prices were a little high. The restaurant sits in a cute mall withseveral dining options and apartments above so I imagine parking is probably difficult during peak dining times. Wish we had this place at home!! We had just arrived from Kansas City & got checked into our hotel, super hungry. Found this... place super close & there was no wait when we arrived, about 3:30/4pm on a Thursday. Staff was friendly, food was good! Theyhave great happy hour menu too. Wish we could go back! This is my favorite neighborhood bar/grill. Every meal I?ve gotten here is amazing. I?ve eaten/drank here a tremendous amount of... times and stop by about 3x/week. My favorite: teriyaki chicken bowl? you cannot go wrong with anything you get here. Other favs:philly cheesesteak, all tacos (especially the mahi fish), sliders, southern buttermilk fried chicken. We are in Denver for a business conference and decided to take a short stroll from the hotel for a light meal and stumbled upon... Metropolitan Bar & Grill. Being from Florida, we chose to sit outside and enjoy the non-oppressive weather. Service was prettygood, friendly and kept our beverages full. Menu was rather diverse and had us torn between a few different options. Food cameout pretty quick and frankly was delicious. We painfully had to issue a one star deduction for the general dinning area. Whileit?s decorated quite nicely, it was cluttered as heck. The hostess stand had menu?s piled up high, they had staff rollingsilverware at the table as you walked in, and things just looked generally disheveled.
