Avoid this place at all costs. Tried going last week around 630pm on a Friday and there was a sheet of notebook paper taped on... the door saying they were closed due to worker shortage. Lights were out, door was locked. Fast forward this week, thought ofgiving them another chance but I called ahead to make sure they were open. The person argues with me saying the past week "Justthe lobby to eat in was closed", when clearly it was closed, the door was locked!! They just gave a horrible attitude. If that'sthe attitude over the phone to your customer, why would I trust you with making the food? I'll be surprised if this locationisn't closed down in a month. Would not recommend online ordering. Go in and watch them make your food!! This was my order today............... This is not a... joke. I paid $12 for this. My wife's looked like this but with lettuce. (Edit) Apon further review, I've noticed that thesomeone moderates the reviews with a basic answer that they'll send your concerns to the owner. Our family of six has been ordering Hot Head online every Sunday for months. This Sunday, the online ordering website was not... working, so we decided to eat in at the Englewood location. We expected our bill to be higher since there would be tax as wellas drinks that we normally don't get when ordering online. We were overcharged. We only got the Sunday deal (2 for 15.99) ontwo of our burritos. When asking the manager why we did not get the deal on our other burritos, she was very abrupt borderingon rude, explaining that the deal does not apply on smothered burritos. Well, that would be fine, except for months of orderingthat way online we've gotten the deal (there was just a small upcharge for the extra sauce). My complaint is that the pricesonline vs. in the restaurant are not the same. Due to the price inconsistency and the rudeness of management there, our familyof 6 are taking our business elsewhere. I just left hot head burritos crying, I have never ever experienced this much hatred from a staff. So I started my order for a... burrito bowl, when I asked for the fajitas veggies, the worker screamed that they're out of it and I said that's my favoritepart of the meal, this angry lil dude just toss the food with a big bang in the trash and went off to attend to the nextperson. I told him I wasn't done with my order, and he was really rude to me, the other customer had to confront him for beenovertly rude to me and his response was that he wasn't suppose to be at work today and he's just mad cos someone else calledoff. I don't understand how that transcends to him been mad at me a paying customer. I was just crying while I left yourrestaurant with the food i already paid for. I couldnt even demand for refund cos i was too distraught. I have always ate herefor as long as i can remember. With my 3rd and 4th pregnancy I ate just hot head cos that was the only food I could stomach. Iknow there's a high shortage of staff, even at my job, but I implore your organization to please retrain your staff and teachthem more about the importance of customer service. Thanks Read more
Came to get some dinner for the family around 6:30 tonight. It was almost the customer?s turn in front of to order her meal.... Young guy working comes over and immediately asks what do you want with such a rude tone it shocked me as well as the lady itwas directed towards. She started her order and the rice was so quickly thrown into the bowl as well as the ingredientsfollowing. The customer turned towards the door even saying that looks ?pitiful?. She finished the order and inquired aboutfajitas, although she didn?t remember the name. The employee then said they were all out which is understandable sure. Thecustomer expressed her disappointment saying that?s the only reason she came which all of us have been there before. Theemployee then threw her entire bowl into the trash and came to me to start my order. The lady was shocked and said she wasn?tdone with the order where he snapped back and said you wanted fajitas. She then ordered some fish tacos and there was going tobe a wait so she stood by the drinks in front of the counter waiting. I finished my order, and filled my drinks and no one wasin the store but her and I and the employees. I walked through the line and he said have a good day and I confronted him aboutthe situation. Absolutely ridiculous to treat someone that way and how incredibly rude he was towards her. The excuses beganflying from his mouth and she then overheard and thanked me but he then said he wasn?t supposed to be working and that he hadsomeone quit today. So what, life isn?t fair and if someone screws you, don?t take it out on other people. The way he hadtreated this lady was so demeaning and unacceptable and she just took it. Hope he has a better day tomorrow but I doubt it. Mostlikely will not be back to Englewood, Vandaila is not too far away and I also know owners of different locations around here.Horrible experience today. Have always had a very poor experience with this location. The food and service is very poor compared to the Vandalia location.... Online orders are never right and the staff is not friendly at all. I would avoid this location at all costs if I were you Read more
The staff was nice when I came to pick up - but there was a FLY (or some type of bug that looks similar) in my hot head sauce... ???????? disgusted me and I threw my entire order away. I of course would?ve said something had I eaten in, this was to go and Ididn?t see it until I got home 30 mins later. This warrants zero stars honestly lol, it?s sickening. Read more
