We had to throw the biscuits away, they had to have been days old, hard as rocks. They put fresh chicken on top of old ones... that were stone cold and dried out. Basically lost half our meal and it’s not like it’s cheap. The potatoes & coleslaw weregood though. Unfortunately the drive thru order process is now a pain to deal with. UPDATE AT BOTTOM Well, since Uber Eats hasnt resolved this, here I go to google. A friend and I ordered two (2) Breast, thigh,... leg meals. After approximately 40 mins the NICE driver arrived. She is not the problem here. Lees obviously made my order assoon as it was received and let it sit on some warming tray for 30 mins; our food was luke-warm. Further, instead of gettingthighs, we received nasty dry wings. The manager was rude when my buddy called and said she packaged the order personally andthere was “no way I made a mistake “. Then “click”, she hung up. Uber Eats NEVER resolved this, the manager certainlydid not either. UPDATE Uber Eats refunded my order cost. CHUCK of the parent company responded to my concerns. He wasexceptionally professional and kind; he said he would speak to staff regarding proper handling of complaints. I believe him. Further, he too wished to replace the meals. His correspondence was above and beyond acceptable. The local restaurant may bestruggling, but with leadership like Chuck, they should recover well. Read more
For the last two weeks or longer probably 4 weeks their service has been going downhill The chicken is old and hard. It has way... too much breading on the chicken. I get the strips. The breading would not be a bad thing if it wasn't fried so hard. The sidesusually seem old and barely warmed over. I drive the extra miles to Englewood to get better chicken. Food was extremely overpriced. They forgot part of my order and part of our meal was spoiled. I observed the young lady spill... tea on the counter. She wiped the counter with a towel, wiped up the floor with the same towel and returned to wipe the counterwith the same towel. I will not be back to this restaurant. Read more
Normally I don’t have any issues but tonight I went to get dinner for the kids and I. I order a 5 piece chicken strip meal... with Mac and cheese and cole slaw. I don't eat at Lee's often (I don't eat a lot of fried foods) but had a taste for fried chicken. I was going to go to KFC but... figured this would be a better idea since it's closer to home, almost guaranteeing my food would still be hot when I got there.It tasted ok but the portions of sides could have been more generous! Food is tastey and always fresh in this amazing place. Both Famous and especially spicy ????are really good. The staff is super... friendly both in store and at the drive-thru window. Stepping in it's also impressive how clean and well run this place is.Can't wait for my next visit. Read more
