If you ever want you and your whole family to get food poisoning head straight on over to this waffle house. I know it?s my own... fault but I watched the cook last night put bacon on the grill then touch everyone?s plate and toast with out swapping gloves orwashing hands now me and family are all up puking. I recently visited Ennis to see the drag racing at the Texas Motorplex and decided to have breakfast here one of the mornings of... the race. I personally love Waffle House and always have, the visit was the normal experience I would expect, except for the onething I noticed. One of the cooks was putting down raw bacon, raw sausage patties, and cracking raw eggs with the same pair ofgloves he was preparing plates with. He would touch freshly cooked foods and clean plates with the same gloves he was preparingraw foods with. Once I mentioned this to my waitress she addressed it to him and he began throwing a small fit while cooking andtalking about how it isn?t a big deal and ?I don?t know why it matters? and other sly comments. I don?t want him fired but hereally should understand the importance of this when cooking for other people. Read more

Bacon was burnt. Order was wrong on almost every front and never even got the coffee we ordered. Not even going to discount for... the dirty floors and sticky tables as it was after all a waffle house... Read more
