A local staple for decades. The fries are crispy and absolutely the best! If you get the fish and chips, better bring your... appetite. And their clams are so good, that I want to get some more right now. Read more

The Dock is a "hidden" gem of a restaurant! While it's a popular spot for locals, I've never been despite glowing... recommendations from many. We decided to give it a shot and I'm so glad we did! The salmon was cooked perfectly and all otherfood was delicious...even with picky eaters. The service was friendly and Skip's live music was a perfect sound for thesurrounding seaside decor. Great experience and extremely friendly staff! Read more

I do not like to write negative reviews and I did post one for the Dock at their request, but I don't think it was on google. My... opinion is unfortunately the restaurant is going down hill since COVID. We used to go there a couple times a year and haven'tbeen in at least a year. We went on a Friday night for our wedding anniversary. Barely ate anything all day excited aboutdinner. We did do call ahead seating and were seated right away. but we were seated in the tiniest two person table right nextto the entertainment. It was loud. And not much room. I did not ask to be moved because they were busy and I didn't see anyother tables around. No bread anymore??? I guess not, that was the first shocker. They also no longer sell the Riesling wine wealways ordered there, according to the waitress. Our cocktails were very weak, but did taste good. Overpriced I felt. We orderedsmall plate of fried clam strips for an appetizer and those were awesome, fresh and hot. The rest of the meal was horrible, overpriced, overcooked and cold. I ordered Sea scallops. they were not normal sea scallops. they looked more like bay scallopsto me. I eat scallops all the time. they didnt' look burnt but they tasted burned and were way overcooked. There was no way Iwas paying for them. Even the baked potato tasted burned for some reason. It came off my bill, I sent it all back and did notre-order. My husband ordered the weekend special which was a seafood bucket with 3 types of crab and shrimp. The portion doesnot reflect bucket size. And it was $53.00!! All the crab was rubber, overcooked and cold. there was black stuff on some of theactual meat!!! We were both so hungry that we just ate it. I told the waitress at the end because she was nice and we usuallylike that place. She then apologized to me and told me that in fact they had checked the scallops and agreed with me. What????did you eat my scallops I sent back? Did you not trust my complaint? She also told me they were new scal Read more

Probably the worst dining experience I?ve had in the last 5 years. Got a drink. Couldn?t drink it because how much salt was in... it. Ordered the fried ? poor man?s grooper ? tasted like processed frozen fish filets the most enjoyable part of my and mypartner?s meal were my French fries the stuffed salmon was tasteless and the pasta was overcooked. I will never dine hereagain. Oh! And the live music butchered classics by forgetting words and being totally off tempo. Read more
