Front line staff are usually very good about helping with missing items; they understand that they are not perfect - as all... people aren't. But a handful of employees (Tracy, for example) feel it appropriate to gatekeep the almighty $4 chicken sandwich,in pursuit of keeping McDonald's bottom line afloat. It's very arrogant to dismiss customers who claim they are missing itemsthey ordered when your store is as busy and hectic as this one. Do better. Read more
I would give this location a ZERO if it were an option. TRIED to order, but no one was serving the customers at the front... counter. I asked a young man "who is serving the front counter" and he said, I don't know I'm just the janitor". A mother andson was waiting ahead of me and no one had even acknowledged them. After I asked for the manager (pictured) a young man came upand asked if he could help me and I told him the mother and son were waiting ahead of me. Finally, the manager walked up andsaid we are working on just this staff and we have people in the drive thru (The staff seemed ample but no one up front seemedto have direction.)we have the kiosk up here you can use. I told her that both the drive thru customers and those who take thetime to walk in are equally important and someone should be more cognizant if that. Then I advised her that we don't use kiosks.Then she said, "well I guess you'll have to wait." The problem was that NO ONE was working the front counter and the young manthat finally came to help yelled, "See you later Karen" as I walked out the door because I didn't want to use a kiosk. Poorcustomer service with lack of a sense of urgency for anyone inside. Maybe we should've ordered from our car to be treatedrespectfully. Rude manager. Avoid the location like the plague unless you do a drive thru order. Waited over 30 minutes for a curbside pickup. Went inside... to ask what was going on and every employee had their backs turned to the lobby ignoring everyone inside and only focused on thedrive thru. Absolutely awful customer service. One of the best McDonald's in town. Always fast, always friendly and serves McMuffin's and some other breakfast until 2pm unlike... every other one in the area. Split drive thru which helps the lines not get out of control and has yet to mess up my order asingle time in a couple years. Even when I only want a coffee I'm never waiting longer than a few minutes compared to everycoffee place on Blue Diamond. Read more
This mcdonalds is usually has there stuff together but today I ordered an English McDuffin...get home to find out that they... wrapped me a muffin with nothing in side of it. ??????? I'm sry but who wrapped an empty sandwich to not feel or notice thisfeels a lot lighter than it should? Not even a sorry about that or offering me something else. Just had it reordered. I wouldn'tbe so peeved if I didn't have to make an extra trip. You shouldn't have to check to make sure you actually have a completeSandwich in your bag. Read more

ACTUAL STAR RATING: 3.5 I'm not a real fan of McDonald's food for health and fitness reasons. So when I come to any McDonald's... on an infrequent occasion (at most once every other year), it's generally for someone else. That was the case today. I wassurprised to see this McDonald's, located at 8556 Blue Diamond and Durango, wasn't allowing anyone into the physical premises.Although I was surprised, I was incredibly impressed that McDonald's, of all fast-food restaurants, only allowed drive-thru andcurbside food delivery. Since I haven't been to this or any other McDonalds in well over a year, I was pretty bowled-over thatat this late date into the pandemic, they [McDonald's] aren't forgoing regulations in favor of more stringent standards for thesafety of their staff and guests. As I mentioned above, I don't eat McDonald's food any longer. Today I had a cup of coffeethat was okay. The curbside attendee was wearing both a mask and gloves. Bravo McDonald's, for pandemic service far above whatyour competitors are doing, I'm rating this store 3.5 stars, which for me might as well be a five-star rating for a fast-foodrestaurant.
