We recently celebrated our business's 30th year anniversary and had Huntspoint BBQ Catering Company serve at our location. We... only got Pulled Pork, Pulled Chicken and Pork Ribs with Baked Beans, Mashed Potato and Cucumber salad. We had about 125 people,everybody loved there food. The staff was on time and very friendly, they cleaned up the trash after the event. Overall wouldhighly recommend, and really took the stress out of the event. Read more
This place was great! We got there for lunch at about 1200 last saturday and there was a line out the door. And we waited 5... minutes to order and food came out within 7 minutes. The staff was very helpful. Relatively mid size dining area and picnictables along with the tables indoors were constantly full. Not a bad price for Barbecue meal, their prices are pretty typicalfor barbecue. BBQ is not supposed to be cheap. I highly recommend their moist brisket, bacon potato salad and Collard Greens.Cant wait to go back next time we're in town! Read more
I had brisket lean end 1 lb., 1/5 lb pulled chicken, and individual sides of bacon potato salad and MacNchese. Brisket was... great, not dry, full of flavor. Pulled Chicken was moist and tender. Bacon Potato Salad had pieces of bacon and really tasty,very creamy, and fresh Mac and Cheese was creamy and delicious. Freshly made. Atmosphere was casual. We went at 11am for lunch.Upon our arrival all the meats just came out of the smoker, everything was made fresh. Their restaurant appeared clean andneat. The pulled pork was very flavorful. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I found the potato salad to be mediocre. We... ordered a large sweet potato which was two medium sized ones and one baby sweet potato and all were overcooked and dry. Thecornbread was quite dry as well. HuntspointBBQ = Delicious = Fresh I've eaten HuntspointBBQ ribs, brisket, pulled pork, sausage-all of which need no sauce for... taste or added moisture. The delicious meat I've eaten had an amazing flavor, juiciness and was cooked to perfection. Honestly,the ribs were some of the best I've ever had. I've tasted their homemade sides-coleslaw with apple, cucumber salad, bakedbeans, red potato homefries, cornbread and collard greens-they are fresh, made from scratch and they are delicious. None of themeat or sides had a "liquid smoke," taste or smell or artificial liquid margarine. Everything was extremely fresh and deliciousand tasted individual-no mixing of tastes and flavors. The meat from HuntspointBBQ is of the highest quality. There is acompletely different variety, a larger variety and a different preparation for each meat, hence the difference in price(compared to another barbecue joint 3 miles away). I would eat at Huntspoint or have take-out at least twice a week if Icould. Although there are 2 BBQ joints in town (I like the competition too, but prefer Huntspoint) the foods are entirelydifferent. Actually, there's a lot of mean people out there going on to HuntspointBBQ review sites and badmouthing them becausethey've been loyal to the place down the street when they've never tasted the food at Huntspoint. By far the best barbecue I've ever had! The brisket was not only juicy, Smokey, and flavorful, it had very little fat! Owner are... excellent and friendly. Would go out of my way to get here for another meal. Read more
I don't usually write reviews, especially anything negative, but this was some of the worst BBQ I've ever had. Brisket was... overly greasy, pulled pork was bland, and the burnt ends were...something. I didn't expect the best BBQ in the world, but thisis way overpriced for what it is. Read more
