My friend ordered an iced chai latte here yesterday afternoon, and they put a shot of espresso in it. She does not like... caffeinated drinks so avoids any type of coffee, hence the chai latte. When she asked the barista about it, the barista told herthat yes chai lattes have a shot of espresso in it, brushed her aside, and did not offer to remake the drink. A chai latte witha shot of espresso is a DIRTY chai. Usually they?re really good here but this is unacceptable and some people medically cannothave much caffeine, so giving someone an espressos shot of caffeine without it being ordered could be dangerous.
