Great food, great staff, and great cider. Not typically a cider fan, but we got a cider flight, and The Old Mine converted me.... Although their beer selection is small, they had a couple of rare beer finds available on tap. I ate the grilled cheese minusthe tomato, which was great! Their doughnuts are tasty as well. There is also an ice cream shop attached. To cap it off, you canget your fortune delivered by Zoltar!! Nothing negative about this spot. We will be back! Read more
Pros: very clean and good location Cons: price; my daughter ordered nachos (no meat) just queso, beans, tomato?. For $16!! The... 12? pizzas are $18-25 each which is about $5-$7 more than I thought they were worth. Food: We ordered two of these pizzas andthey were soggy from the excess grease. I just strolled into the Old Mine looking for some grub after a long day in the mountains. I did not expect to find one of the... best draft beers I've ever had (Prairie Bomb!) and one of the best pizzas I've ever had (Tommy Want Hot Wingy) but here we are.I know they're a cidery and this is not one of their beers, but regardless I will be back often. Really good cider. Delicious and strong. Food was good too. Prices not crazy. Right in downtown Erie so it was fun to walk... around after too. Family friendly and a lot of seating, including nice outdoor seats. Read more
Enjoyed the Chai cider, it was so good and now my favorite flavor here. My drink of choice is cider, which I rarely even do and... many ciders are dry which I don't like at all. I came here with my friend who hasn't been before, it was nice and cozy and weenjoyed catching up. I've always enjoyed this place and will be back. Chai cider year round would be awesome. Read more
Stopped by here for a lunch with my wife and I gotta say I was very impressed. The food was very delicious and the set up if the... restaurant is very cool. I was not able (at the time of lunch) to try their ciders, however, my wife was! She absolutely lovedthree of them! So much so she took two growlers home from the place!! The old mine cider , is some of the best cider I've ever had. Most of their "flavors" are my favorites. The people and ambience... make you want to keep coming back. The bad bit: the food is very expensive. There's no two ways about it. It's decent food butit's more money spent than any comparable dining experience. You'll want to absolutely enjoy their cider and the beautifullocation. Read more
