We dined here for a birthday dinner and it was lovely. It had a good vibe with the music and the atmosphere felt nice and... welcoming. The food was awesome! I also tried the berry mule and that was very good for someone who doesn't like mules. Theowner came by and chatted with us for a bit and was very friendly. Our waitress was awesome and kept us happy the whole time. Also the view before it got dark was awesome. I highly suggest dining here! Read more

4 of us arrived for dinner at around 530 and were given a really nice table outside with a full view of the bay. Drinks came... quickly, then the waiter visited and read off 6 different "specials". I wasn't extremely excited about any one thing on themenu, but the halibut with plum sauce special sounded really good. When the food arrived, I was served sushi. I didn't hearthe word sushi used once in the description although I did recall "Wasabi" so maybe that was the hint!? I'm not a sushi eatertypically but it was amazing. One of us got the delmonico steak with fries and loved it. The other 2 people ordered the stripsteak... one with asparagus and one without and they looked like 2 different meals. The steak with the asparagus with thickand larger than my friend's without. I would recommend sticking with what's listed in the description when ordering entrees. The service and presentation was great, but the portions a little on the small side, which is unfortunate for the prices. Twoof us definitely could have eaten more! After dinner we went upstairs for a drink and enjoyed the sunset from the north/eastside deck which was not crowded at all. Hope to return sometime! Read more

Came here for my husband's early birthday dinner. We got there 15 minutes before our reservation and they seated us right away.... At first they took us to a table by the oyster bar and kitchen and when we asked for a different table, they did without aproblem. The service was fast and friendly. We had the seafood dip which was delicious. We both had the porterhouse of pork. Itwas PHENOMENAL. Definitely will come here again. Read more

It was good... but we waited an hour to get our food. Had to let the waitress know we were ready to order with reservations at... 530o. She was nice about it but I was a bit disappointed... we just got back from San Francisco so I was looking forward toreally good seafood options. Ordered the flaming mai tai but wasn't flaming. Saw at least 4-5 waitstaff chit chatting. We had tobe at a concert by 7pm so reservations at 530p and waited a bit over an hour for our food and had to rush our diningexperience... not cool. I tipped over 20% but I usually tip at least 50% for good dining experiences. Read more

We did not like the table they sat us at. They put us upstairs in a packed small room up against a wall and right next to a... very, very loud table of 9 young ladies, in their 20's. Almost had to scream at my wife to carry on a conversation, it didn'tbother me as much as it wife. I had a dozen oysters as an appetizer and they were very good! My wife had the crab cakes and shedid she liked them. For my main I had the chicken Marquette which I enjoyed very much. Next time I make a reservation I will askfor a seat at the oyster bar! Good and our server caryanne, were great! Read more

I took my 3 teenage daughters here for dinner while on vacation. Our evening was great! The waitress was amazing… the chef was... awesome and brought me out some peppers that were in the ahi tuna dish to take home (which was absolutely incredible)! The rawoyster selection was extensive and I enjoyed a full dozen all to myself! I recommend Bay House to families, a date night or evena solo dinner at the bar! They have something for everyone! We came for a small birthday dinner and had a blast. Super conveniently located across from the hotel we were staying at. The... drinks, food, atmosphere, and staff were lovely. Our servers, Amber and Ceci, were so personable and fun and John, the owner, popped by for a visit too. Everyone was great and the dinner was just what we were looking for: upscale but not uppity. I gotthe sirloin with the cognac pepper cream sauce (pictured). It was delicious and the boursin potato croquettes were spot on. Go! Read more

Great atmosphere. Fantastic food! Although wife's filet was way overcooked, it was promptly taken care of. Pork porterhouse was... great. Mini crab cakes were phenomenal, they are definitely mini. Great drink selection. We were hesitant on the oysters butgave em a shot and they were surprisingly delicious. Will definitely return. Another great concept of John's. Read more
