Reviews for Chipotle Mexican Grill in Erie, PA

Please please pay attention to the low rating this place has, and go somewhere else. I?m not sure if I?ve ever left a 1 star... review for anything. I work customer service and understand mistakes happen. And I love Chipotle. But not this one. I?veordered for pickup on the app 3 times since they?ve opened at the beginning of the year. EACH TIME, there is something heavilywrong. I don?t mean like ?they forgot some chips?. What I mean is there are entire items and ingredients missing from the order.Burritos, Bowls; chicken, beans you name it. First time, I brushed it off as ?well, they just opened?. Second time was in May,but there were a bunch of kids operating the store, mistakes can happen. I tried calling, but you can?t talk to anyone at thatlocation, so I simply submitted what was forgotten on the app and got a bunch of codes for free food in the future. Cool, Iguess. But the third time was today. I picked them up and got back to my job, only to realize that 4 entrees were missing. 4. Idrove all the way back and told them. They didn?t believe me, then went and looked at the shelf, asked for my name again, pickedup the bag they forgot and set it in front of me. Then walked away, not a word, no eye contact, nothing. For crying out loud, man. If I?m a customer complaining about MY own error, then I get it. That?s annoying. But when I?m a customer who is having anissue because of YOUR error, why the attitude? **A bonus complaint is that on my burrito, it was 15% meat and 85% rice. That?scrazy. This burrito cost $10 and I could get a pound of rice for 1/4 of the price. So needless to say, avoid this place likethe plague, and save some money. This side of town needs a Moe?s or Chick-fil-A. This Chipotle is by far the worst of the 3 Erie-area Chipotles. Tonight I ordered food for my family of 5, and items were... missing from my order. I drove back to the store, only to have the manager rudely argue with me and claim they were in "peaktime" (um, at almost 730?) and she could not afford to go make vinaigrette since "most people don't want it any way." One of myitems on order was a salad, of course I wanted the vinaigrette! I told her I would have understood if I had been told at time ofpick up, but I was not told. After I came home a second time, my mom then found some rotten lettuce mixed in to her salad. Iwas so excited for a Chipotle to come to Harborcreek, but with the rude manager and the often-missed items and bad packaging, Iwill drive clear across town to one of the other two locations before going to this one ever again. It's like going to Subway.... they make your food right in front of you. It was my first time there so I didn't know that I... didn't want a full serving of rice on my burrito. There was barely any room for lettuce and cheese at the end. We found ahair in one of the tacos... but the really bad thing was the line of people after we sat down. There were 2 girls up front:: one making everyone's items and one standing at the register to check people out. The line kept getting longer and longerbecause apparently the girl at the register could only do the register and not help out with the customer's food. I would notrecommend coming here if you see a lot of cars outside or you'll be waiting awhile! Read more

This location has the worst general manager in the HISTORY of food establishments. I understand what is going on with the... pandemic but this place runs out of food EVERY SINGLE DAY. I have been there 4 times since they opened and they are always outof food. Clearly whoever is in charge doesn't know how to order inventory. How do you run a Chipotle and run out of veggies at5pm on a Saturday? Last time there was no chicken and the time before that no barbacoa. Every time I go there and order what Iwant I either leave with something completely different or nothing at all. Who wants Chipotle and only orders meat and cheese?Let me know when you hire a new GM at this location and maybe I'll try here again but I will drive 20 minutes the otherdirection from now on if I'm craving burrito and go to Moe's or another Chipotle. I will never go to this location again. Read more

I've been coming here since January, and I think they're still going through growing pains. I usually get a burrito bowl with... guac (when available) and probably more than 50% of the time the guac is brown. Mostly I can scrape off the outer layer and it'sfine but this time it's still brown. Be warned! Read more

Anyone who?s had a bad experience so far is prob because they went way too early. Of course it?s not going to be perfect after... it just opened. Went today, got a nice warm burrito which was delicious with the classic chips. Staff was super nice, don?t seeanything wrong with this chipotle ??????? Read more

The store opened late December and was fully staffed, abit with newly trained personal. When I visited, they were not able to... accept cash. This was the first location I've visited with a drive up window, available for pick-up for app orders. I don'tunderstand their seating concept v. self serve beverage. There prices are high, food is good but this is not a value propositionwhen you're charged for chip and salsa separately... Read more

First I will state that Chipotle is my favorite fast food place. I have driven to Mentor Oh in the past, just to get my burrito.... Then they opened one on Peach Street and things got easier. When I got the news that a Chipotle was coming to Harborcreek, whereI live, I was ecstatic. After months of waiting, opening day arrived and a family member went thru the Chipotlane. It was anapparent disaster - almost an hour waiting in line to receive cold food. Maybe just opening day issues...I thought. I went onday 2. Used the app, ordered a veggie burrito and a steak bowl. We live 5 minutes away and there was no wait in the Chipotlane.Yay. However- the food was just a huge disappointment. I did not get a picture of the burrito bowl, but trust me - it was only1/2 full. My burrito - I did take a picture of; it was the most pitiful burrito I have ever received from any Chipotle, anywhere. there were about 6 pieces of lettuce, white rice (ordered brown) a small amount of black beans (ordered extra)overwhelming amount of sour cream and a smattering of cheese. I won't be in a hurry to go back for sure. I won't use the appeither - apparently you need to watch how your food is prepared or you will end up with this: Read more
