I used to go to Mama Mias when it was located on peach street. I called to place an order and was asked if i ordered from there... before and stated, "Ah not recently." Well, since my number was not one they recognized, I was told I had to use a card to placemy order. I stated that I only had cash to use. The woman over the phone not only cut me off, but told me that the only way Icould use it would be to come in place an order and wait. Having someone who turns down a customer or rather makes them feelinsignificant because they don't use their restaurant on regular basis doesn't exactly make customers want to come back. Their pizza is hands down the best in town. The dough has a great texture to it, perfect amount of sauce and fresh, delicious... toppings. The staff has been amazing throughout everything that has transpired over the last 18 months. Delivery has always beenprompt and correct. Highly recommend you try this pizzeria Edit Aug 2022. I'm visiting from out of town. I selected Mama Mia's per the great reviews that they had. We're staying at Gannon University for... a soccer tournament. I called to place a large order. The lady on the phone pretty much made me decide on another pizza placebecause, she couldn't tell me how far away they were from the University. I let her know that i was from out of town anddidn't know the area very well. She made me feel as if she didn't want to assist me. She said they were closing in an hour, Ineeded to use a card (which I was) because I've never ordered from there. It was not a pleasant experience. Ultimately Ithanked her and told her that I was going to order somewhere else. Our team comes here every year for the memorial daytournament. I guess Mama Mia's will never be on our list of pizza places again. Read more
BEST PIZZA EVER. Tried it a few weeks ago when we were on a little weekend trip to Erie. It was so freaking good that we packed... our two year old and three month old into the car today and drove all the way from Cleveland just for their pizza. I don?t knowif it?s the sauce, the crust, the perfect amount of cheese or all three but damn, it?s good pizza. Worth a trip from anywhere ifyou ask our family. Thanks, Mama Mia?s. Stopped here before going back to Buffalo,NY on way from shopping and wanted to have something that was not a chain restaurant. ... Food was delicious and tasted fresh out of Italian kitchen. Tammy one of the owners, I believe made us feel like we were longtime customers, and was only our first visit. Stromboli was made fresh to order...and loved having the choice of three differentsizes of anti pasta. Will defintly stop again to either try or bring home pizza or calzone. Read more
In town for a travel hockey game. We searched for nearby pizza places and landed on this place.. We got Wings, Italian subs... and cheese pizza.. Everything was awesome and the prices are hard to beat. Highly recommended Read more
