The restaurant is in the Hampton on the 8th floor. Our server Ally was amazing. She made the night very memorable as it was our... engagement dinner. She went through the menu with us and came to check in on us during the night. We got one of the specials ofthe night which was the salmon and the spicy chicken pasta. For dessert we tried the bread pudding. The mule menu will be our goto for drinks. Everything came out in a timely manner and tasted great! We had an amazing experience for the dinner. Their drinks are also good. The view is amazing. Wait time is a lot. We had to wait... even though we had a reservation but it was nice of them to let us hang out a little bit extra. Food was really good anddesserts were to the mark. Always ask for their specials. Great service and location. Several cocktail choices. Wish we had tried their desserts made in house. Note the haddock with... she-crab special was good and cost $54. There are less pricey meals, so be sure to try. Reasons not 5 stars - seated inmiddle of room bedside the flaming wall with no view of lake. Chairs were very heavy and hard to move. We went to Oliver’s Rooftop to splurge and celebrate our recent move to the area. We brought our kids with us knowing it... wasn’t necessarily a child friendly place, but they are well-behaved and are foodies who appreciate finer dining. The food anddrinks were all fantastic, and the view was great. The only thing we didn’t really enjoy was where we were seated. Weintentionally made a reservation for earlier in the evening (since we were bringing children with us), and the corner table wewere seated was directly in the sun the entire time. It was quite bright and warm in the sun, so drinks were melting and Iactually got sunburnt sitting there! They did offer us complimentary sunglasses to wear, which was a thoughtful touch. It wasquite uncomfortable, so I’d highly recommend going later in the evening as the sun is setting or specifically asking for atable further inside in the shade, unless you’re willing to suffer in the sun for the tableside view. Our server Hailee wasfantastic, and even brought a complimentary dessert with a big sparkler in it to welcome us to Erie. Despite the sun, we had agreat experience and will definitely return…next time in the shade! Read more
Absolutely fantastic. Rob was amazing despite being 1 of 3 servers caring for an entire house of people. Don't get me wrong, the... experience is quite pricy for Erie, but I think it's absolutely worth it. We've been to many places in coastal California andOliver's compares to those, in the quality, the attentiveness and the ambiance. It actually really made me reminisce about thenice quality Cali restaurants that I've been to, and that's really hard to do. Read more
This was my first time at Oliver's, and will most definitely come back again. Rob, our server, was amazing and very attentive... even though he was only one of three servers for the entire room of people. The food was well prepared, the drinks weredivine. We decided to try Oliver's Rooftop on several recommendations. In short, the service was excellent and the meal was out of this... world. I would have to say one of the best steaks we have had. Russ was our server and he was excellent. Very attentive,polite and fun to talk to. Would highly recommend Oliver's. We will definitely be returning. Read more
