We were in the area for a getaway and ate at Pineapple Eddie’s two times as we were so pleased with our first meal. I had the... shrimp and grits both nights as it was so good. Brief experience: Amazing service, cheerful and knowledgeable servers, AMAZING food, great ambiance. In depth: I ordered the 6... wings as an ap in the spicy sweet sauce. In addition I got a side salad with Caesar dressing. Both again, Very good and had abold but cozy taste. This was our first visit to this little gem. The service was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was awesome, though we... expected both dishes to be a tad spicier. My friend had the linguine with mussels. He thought it would have more Cajun spices toit. But, it was great. We will go back again when I visit again. Be aware that reservations are needed. Food was delicious, although be warned we they say spicy they mean spicy. The spicy isn't a fake warning for garlic in your dish... and that's highly appreciated. Absolutely worthwhile. Read more
This place was way bigger than I thought it was going to be. Great environment and ambience. We had the fried chicken wings as... an appetizer, which was by far the BEST fried chicken I have had in Erie. We got the fried catfish and the brown sugar bourbonfried chicken entrees; both were phenomenal. The plantains were also on point, and I am picky about plantains. Great restaurant in an unexpected place. They have outdoor seating in addition to indoor, and the indoor space is bigger than... you'd think from just looking at the building. The food was excellent and the service was awesome! Only "complaint" is that wefinished dinner before the band started playing lol. Would definitely come back here again! Read more
Visited Erie with some friends and they welcomed us to a GREAT dinner and time here. Loved the food, atmosphere and service. The... live band had a great variety and sounded amazing to complement the food. We had Blueberry Wings, Jerk Burger, Chicken &Waffles, Fried Chicken, Fried Eggplant and the Cornbread muffins which were all delicious. I had the pleasure to have the lastmuffin in the basket and could sop up the sauce from the bottom of the basket! Told all our friends about it and can't wait togo back on our next trip to Erie.
