The food is great but the service isn't the best. I ordered a specialty pita that comes with hot pepper cheese. They waited... until after it was already made to tell me they were out. Instead of asking if I wanted something else they asked me whichcheese I wanted to substitute. I wouldn't have ordered that. If I knew they didn't have everything needed to make what I wanted,I would have ordered something else. That is bad service if you ask me. Read more

Stopped in tonight on the way back to PGH. I?ve never been to a Pita Pit before. Carter took care of us... his service was spot... on and the food was terrific! From what I understand I?ve only been open for about six months but I have to believe this placeis only going grow over time with this kind of service and food. We came in late on a holiday/Monday and people kept coming inbehind us so I suspect the word is already out. By the time we left it was well after close and Carter was there with a smileserving everyone who walked in. The place was clean and everything was made fresh. Pita pit is my new favorite lunch place. It tastes amazing. My favorite is the chicken solvaki. But they are all yummy!... Friendly staff. I never have to wait long. Make sure you tip. They deserve it. I hope they stick around forever! 10 stars if Icould. Read more
Never been to a pita pit before so this was my first time. It's set up weird when you walk in. You have to walk to the back to... order. Sadly they were out of Beyond Meat but she asked me what I wanted to replace it with and I told her falafel. My GreekPita was very good. Just a little too spicy though with their sauce. My also really boyfriend liked his chicken pesto pita.Great service too! Read more
Absolutely amazing staff! On top of their game! Made a vegetarian meal and made sure there was absolutely no cross... contamination! The food? Stellar!!! I have not one complaint about this place! For my first experience I'll definitely be comingback for more!!!! Read more
