The best restaurant in Michigan. The bar is exciting. Service wonderful friendly smiles fast and curtious. Dining experience ... waitress well trained who only had one serving of shrimp left found two so we each could have one. It was served withexcellence skills. Salad and main coarse delicious. This restaurant was top notch they were out of prime rib so I opted for two filets and got the linguine and clam sauce as side... and did French onion soup as starter came with fresh made bread and it was delicious I had a taste for shrimp and got two batterdip shrimp that were very nice size and fried to perfection hats off to the chef which cooked my filets to a perfect med rarejust as I ordered! My waitress was Morgan she was a top notch server who always kept my water full and was very helpful with theordering process. When in escanaba don?t pass on this gem I?ll be back for sure. Read more
Great food and service. We were a big group of adults and kids and sampled a lot of dishes because of that. All the dishes were... tasty. White fish with capers was the best. The staff was friendly and helpful. We reached at 9:30 pm after being turned away atanother restaurant as their kitchen was closing. But at Stonehouse, they welcomed us even when the restaurant looked fairly fulland only 30 min from closing. We were able to enjoy our dinner without feeling rushed. Read more
You can never go wrong with Stonehouse. I've had multiple meals there and I've never been let down. In this meal, the wood fired... Teriyaki Chicken appetizer is one of the most amazing things you'll ever eat, it's a MUST HAVE !! My steak was seasonedbeautifully and again, being cooked over a wood fired grill makes it even better. Love the atmosphere and the service is alwaysgood. A great place to eat in Escanaba. Read more
Absolutely delicious meals and (having loved on the East Coast and in major cities in Texas) relatively reasonable prices. The... duck special was packed with flavour and the service was excellent. Very little room for improvement, but just a couple notes?The salad was drenched in dressing, it would have been perfect otherwise. The butter was cold as a rock, so very hard to spreadover the provided bread. Also, the ambiance is a bit loud in the restaurant. Not sure if it was just the crowd I happened to bewith, but the single room can fill up real quick and get to a high decibel. Would highly recommend ! Read more
Nice atmosphere. The goat cheese appetizer stole the show. Salads and bread were really good. Main course of prime rib, flank... steak and gormet mac and cheese was good, but nothing remarkable and was over all salty. Our waitress was impersonable and veryrushed.
