Hadn't been to black Angus in a long time, and I am glad we tried this. The campfire feast is an amazing deal, starting off with... the steak quesadilla. Then I went with the new York steak and my wife the ribs and they were outstanding! Tender, perfectlycooked and great flavor! And the fact the deal comes with a dessert as well is awesome. The cowboy cookie is so good! Servicewas really good and prices very fair. Will definitely come back here sometime to get the same deal again. Read more
Great local place if you want to grab a good steak and beer. Employees are friendly and great you upon entrance. I gave 4 stars... based on service being a little on the slower side other than that it’s a great place. Read more
FOOD & DRINKS I had the ribs with mashed potatoes and Mac’n’Cheese. The ribs were “fall off the bone” good. The side... dishes are more or less a disaster. Probably the worst mashed potatoes I had in years. Once piece of “solid”something. SERVICE Another mixed bag. We had one waiter who was kinda not in a good mood or just bored and a waitress who wassmiling and very friendly. ATMOSPHERE I simply don’t like these big steak house chain restaurants. Very dark and oldfashioned. RATING I take one star off for the side dishes and one more for the service. Put more care and love into the sidedishes so they won’t tarnish the whole experience. My friend and I like to come here after walking around Lake Hodges. They offer Happy Hour prices for certain items and drinks.... I'm usually too hungry to be satisfied with hors d'oeuvre and don't have enough money for a steak, so I opt for the steakhousebacon cheeseburger for $17+. So far, it has beautifully hit the spot. In my opinion, whoever is cooking this burger is givingany other place that would vie for "best burger in north county" a run for the money. I love their fries as well. The service was a bit slow but it was a little busy at certain times that we were there. The food is great we got the dinner for... too which is $66. Which was a great price we got salmon steak two choices of sides and loaded baked potato soup. The soup isexcellent the food all around was great Read more
Probably 4.25 or 4.5 Stars. We got the prime rib, the filet mignon and a wagon wheel combo. It was all pretty good and probably... could have fed 3 hungry adults for $100. It’s a very affordable steakhouse but the taste and flavor are punching well aboveits weight class. Pros: • Affordable Good tasting food • servers were nice and accommodating • good came out quick • Nowait to be seated • Wine was good and very adorable • Clean restaurant • Located in the mall and otherconveniences Cons: • none 30% the price of going to a fancy steakhouse you get 80 to 85% of the experience. We had a good dinner that included a New York steak, full rack of ribs, shrimp, and kids macaroni and cheese dinner. We had a... great time and our waitress Cecilia was prompt, attentive, and good overall. We used a coupon otherwise I think the prices are alittle high for the meals. Read more
Awesome place! We thoroughly enjoyed the feast for two, and rolled out of the restaurant ???????? Fillet mignon was delicious... ???? as were potatoes ???? and quesadilla with steak! And the mud pie was to die for! Service was great too! Read more
