This is our new favorite place in Escondido. Came in around 2pm and received immaculate service. The decor is great. You can... tell they put a lot of thought into it. We ordered the sweet peach tea and berry tea. Boy were we pleasantly surprised ????. They were delicious ????. For our meal we got a California Benedict ???? and the Huck's Breakfast Burrito ????. Both werepiping hot, flavorful, and more portion than we could eat. For the Breakfast Burrito, I had leftovers for another meal. We'lldefinitely be coming back! I just wish they didn't close at 3pm. I ordered the New Orleans Hot Skillet and it was delicious! The portion size was huge. I was only able to eat half of it before... I tapped out. I also ordered the beignets, but I was less impressed. The outside dough was nice and crispy, but the inside was alittle to wet for my tastes. Read more

Great, Awesome breakfast restaurant! Jonathan, our server was very quick and attentive. He has a such a happy attitude! Had the... "Order your own omelet" which was so good! The potatoes were outstanding! Not your typical potatoes! The star of the day werethe beignets! They were so great especially with the blueberry, huckleberry, peach and cream topping! Easy location off the 15in the Target/Bob's Furniture shopping center. Plenty of parking! Will definitely be back! Read more

So disappointed to have to give a poor review to an anticipated breakfast place. My family loves brunch and was waiting for... this new place to open. We finally made it out for Father's Day and it was expectedly packed. I was told by several people thatthe wait times were exaggerated they were right. 45 minutes quoted was really just 20. We had a nice booth. Even though we havetons of concerns none of them are about the staff. Our waitress Christy was nice and all the other staff seemed kind andattentive. To start with the coffee maker broke. Tough luck on Father's Day but we rolled with it. Husband got a Bloody Marythat he said was great. The other alcohol options were limited I know I at least saw three types of mimosas flutes that were$6.95 I believe. We ordered the beignets which were a complete disappointment after having lived in Mississippi for a year. They came out fast but instead of being a giant Puff, It was a solid mass of dough with no air inside. The dough even felt rawor under baked in the center. Our kids took one bite and didn't want more. I didn't either. Also the vanilla pudding that it wasplaced on top of tasted worse than hospital stuff. We saved the berries that it came with after our waitress advised thatgetting berries put on top of my daughter's pancakes from the children's menu would cost an extra $2.50. she ended up notwanting too after tasting it. The bathrooms were clean and had a wheelchair accessible stall. If I recall it had a babychanging station but I was pretty distracted trying to entertain hungry 5-year-old twins. It took an hour to get our food. 3out of 4 of our plates were cold. Our son got piping hot chicken and waffles off the kids menu. So good for him. The rest of ushad cold food. I got a po-boy where the sauce had almost certainly showed signs of being microwave. The shrimp was barelylukewarm. My husband said the flavors were great on his Cajun Benedict but everything was cold. My fries were cold and conge Read more

Found this place by accident and we went to check it out. Theres a wait so be prepared. We waited about 45 min. We had the crab... cake benedict, steak and eggs, fried okra, swamp ice tea and Beignets to go. They serve in big portions so we had to take someof the food home. The food was great, service is good and friendly. Love their hot sauce. We will be back and bring our friends. The decor is good with big paintings of the Bayous. Read more

I went today for the first time and it was good but not amazing. The service is great I can?t complain, the employees are so... friendly. In the other hand their food is tasty, but I can find it anywhere else. The prices are good, drinks are awesomelygood, I ate the waffles and chicken, but my chicken was cold. It was super busy and probably that was the reason. In general Ilike it, I?ll go again in the future. If you?re going on a Saturday make sure you go early. ;) Read more

GREAT BLOODY MARY! The special mix on the rim was the best I?ve ever had and whatever mix they use makes me want to buy some... and take it home! That hit the spot. The worst part of this drink was having only one! I?m having the chicken and waffles nowand it tastes as amazing as it smells! I love this place. I?ll be coming back with my girlfriend for sure! Thank you guys! Aliis my server and she is very attentive and professional. I had a few questions about the menu that she was able to answerpromptly. Keep up the great work! Read more

I was really looking forward to trying this new breakfast place. It was mediocre to say the least. I completely understand this... is a brand new place and that all the kinks aren?t totally worked out yet. We waited 2 hours before we were seated(understandable since there were a lot of people wanting to try this new place). It would have been great if they did the thingwhere they text you when your seat is ready! Instead we had to wait in the 90 degree heat out front with absolutely no shadesmelling raw sewage from the plant nearby?not exactly appetizing. We waited about 30 minutes before our server brought us waterand the reason was because ?all the cups were being washed? again- I get it. New place, they?re still figuring things out. Theother drinks we ordered were great, but the food took a very long time which I understood and wasn?t mad about. When everyone atmy table opened their silverware there were food chunks and fingerprints on all of them. The replacements were the same way sowe kind of just wiped them ourselves. Everyone at our table ordered the stuffed French toast. They all came out cold and theywere not stuffed?. More like a light brushing of custard in between a couple slices of bread. I usually put more butter on mytoast than that, so it was pretty disappointing. We didn?t complain about anything and we were generous with the tip because weknow that this place is new and everything isn?t perfect yet. We probably will be back sometime in the future, just not for afew months. Read more
