Ate here on a Friday afternoon about 4:30 PM, there were two other customers. We were seated and attended to quickly but after... that try as our young waiter did, things went down hill quickly. Bartender came out promoting the steak dinner. My wifeordered it. I had the enchilada plate. Baked potatoes were not ready we were told so she opted for fries which were right outof the Ore Ida frozen bag--AWFUL. Her steak was to be well done still very moist with juices flowing on top - not good cut ofmeat, marbled and tough. Enchilada plate bland, flat and not what you get at other good New Mexican restaurants. To theircredit my wife did somewhat enjoy her margarita and Corona beer I ordered came with iced mug. The drinks may have softened theblow of the tasteless bland food we were served. As we finished we were offered pecan pie which we regretted after taking acouple of bites. It was horrible with soft pecans and a very awful tasting filling. Adjustment was made on our bill because ofthe pecan pie which we returned and we were not charged for it. Cashier lady did admit that it was two to three days old. Maybe this place is under new ownership or management but it sure did not live up to all the 3+Star ratings it receives here byothers for us. We spent over $50 here plus tip (It was not the waiters fault the food was so bad) but came away feeling we hadbeen had. If I could give it a NO STAR review I would! Read more

La Fonda del Sol recently catered our wedding and provided incredible food and staff. They were very easy to work with and... everyone raved about the dinner. Numerous guests told us it was the best wedding meal they ever had (locals and out-of-townersalike). During the event the staff was very professional, gracious, and left the space squeaky clean. I highly recommend theircatering services, and can also attest that their restaurant food is equally excellent. Thanks again! Read more

This is a neat place, dinning area is outdoors but like it?s inclosed patio feel with beautiful Southwestern decor. If you want... chips & salsa you have to order it (not complimentary). The chips were crisp and the salsa was like Picante but homemade. Wifeand I both had the Quesabirria tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were fantastic along with the broth, rice was good and therefried beans were homemade. Definitely a kewl spot to have some lunch or dinner. Read more

This is an amazing Mexican eatery. I recommend the Quesabirria or their tacos. This isn?t like New Mexican food so don?t expect... it to look or tastes like it. Their food is prepared the way you would find in Old Mexico. The owner, Juan and his wife Lupita, are friendly and will help you pick your meal if you wish. If you are looking for something different or some authentic Mexicanfood then this is the place for you! Read more
