The food is good, been going there for years. Starting to lose it's charm. They don't have menus to take home anymore. Told me... to either look at the board or go online. Not a great solution when you're trying to buy lunch for a crew of workers. Read more

The food is really good but the woman running the register is a miserable c@nt. She must be the owner because I can?t imagine a... place tolerating an employee speaking to customers the way she does. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day the firsttime I went for breakfast, but then she was even worse today. She?s just not nice. I didn?t have an issue with her personally,but I won?t be back again after the way I witnessed her speak to other customers. Read more
This place is a GEM! Essex is so lucky to have this super cool food takeout right at the top of Main Street. It's old fashioned... service and super yummy food with a SMILE! We lived in Ivoryton for ten years and loved Olive Oyl's when it was in its tiny location. We moved to PA in 2009 and returned... to Essex this week to visit family. WHAT AN AWESOME NEW LOCATION! The food was excellent--as always! But the restored gasstation motifs and collectibles were a fantastic treat. Congrats to the owners! Great upgrade! Read more
