We’re going to eat seafood in the Essex/middle river area. We were thinking of eating at Schultz crab house but we decided to... go here since we never went here before and we really enjoyed the food. The rockfish tacos,were amazing some of the best tacos Ihave ever had and the Mac and cheese was also some of the best I ever had it was creamy and had a essence of crab in it also theother food was good,the service was outstanding, their was a band playing,the restaurant is on the water, And we got this wholeexperience for the price of an average seafood restaurant! Great date night! We had a watermelon crush cocktail. It was so delicious and refreshing. The shareable (appetizer) menu looked... so interesting that we decided to have three and split an entree. We chose the Island Salmon for our entree and highly recommendit, especially for the mango salsa glaze. It was heavenly! It was cooked to perfection and served on a bed of rice with grilledasparagus. For our three shareables we chose crab and shrimp stuffed egg rolls, rock bites (fish), and caprese salad. The eggrolls were out of this world delicious!! The entertainment, overlooking the water, dining outdoors, and excellent service madeour dinner such an enjoyable experience that we will soon do again. Read more
First time visiting here. Parking, tho plentiful, was a little precarious as it seems there are a couple of different areas in... which to park. With the exception of the cream of crab soup (a little too salty), the food was very good and the portions werevery generous! Prices are quite reasonable altho several menu items are "market price" (we stayed away from them). As usual,we filled up on the calamari appetizer and I could only taste the seafood pasta but my dining companion managed to eat half herseafood club sandwich. Both were delicious as is the Smith Island chocolate cake we brought home. Definitely will be visitinghere again!! ???? Read more

Okay so I decided to take my boys on a date and this restaurant was 4 mins away from my home. One kid ordered Seafood Portofino... which comes with Mussels, Shrimp & Scallops my kid isn’t fond of scallops so he got extra shrimp. I love pasta & have hadseveral dishes but this one was missing more flavor but if you add some Parmesan cheese it did give it a little moreflavor. The other kids order a burger medium well. It’s kinda hard to go wrong with a burger but he’s very picky & enjoyedit. I ordered the blackened tuna tacos and I was very excited to try them but greatly disappointed. I order my tuna medium butit wasn’t packed with flavor nor did it have any type of sauce which made it hard to swallow without your mouth being dry. Thefries where really good so that the only thing that made the dish a dish. I ordered one of the crushes but I might as wellstuck to soda. I give it 3 stars because both boys enjoyed their dish. We had a wonderful lunch on Thursday and were thrilled to see our favorite staff member and server from another Restaurant in... Bowley’s Quarters. Mike previously worked at Sunset Cove and we have always enjoyed seeing him. He is now permanently a staffmember at Crazy Tuna. As always he took great care of us and we were so thankful to see him now working at this restaurant. Heis incredibly welcoming and just a super guy. Ask for him. You will never be disappointed. So great to see you again Mike. Yourwork ethic and personality have always made you a huge success!!!! Read more
