This is exactly what I look for when it comes to dive bars. There is plenty of space, great seats at the bar, and comforting pub... fairs. What catapults Park Place Tavern to 5 star status is their hometown feel. The name of the bartender is displayed foreach shift. The owner?s daughter bartends and the I met the owner on my second visit there. We ordered a few drinks, a grilledcheese, party sampler, and some fried pickles. The food was well salted and not dry like other chicken tenders. Our bill wasvery reasonable, we were there for hours watching football, and I?m looking forward to coming back soon. Read more
I am super impressed. The food was incredible, perfectly priced, and portion size perfect! The wait staff is attentive and... courteous. I had the Texas Holdem burger with Onion rings delicious! Nachos and BBQ wings were delicious and filling. I willdefinitely be coming back. Read more
The food is amazing, the servers/bartenders are super friendly and great. I asked for recommendations on a drink and she made me... a really good one. my husband and I were visiting from PA and wanted a quick drink and burger so we thought this may be a good place and wow were... we disappointed. too loud, obnoxious, disgusting, and dirty!! And rude staff! On top of this, they?re over serving people to thepoint that at 8pm people are stumbling to their cars (AND SOME WERE DRIVING!!????) Not to mention while leaving we had to tellincoming bar customers that they shouldn?t park in the neighboring apartment building?s marked parking spots! Food and service were exceptional. Our server Chelsea was amazing! Very friendly and prompt. Tripped over this place while... visiting from Maine, and now I'm bummed because it's so far away. If you are in the area, I highly recommend. Read more
