This place has so much potential. The food and service were ok. They have a great outdoor seating area but have a limited menu... that you can get out there. If you want something more you have to call the restaurant 50 yards away and order your food to go. If they had full service outside and worked on the quality of their food this could be a 5 star establishment. Read more

Stormer burger was delicious! Roasted peppers, meatballs, and the donuts we?re amazing too. Worth the drive.

This location used to be called the Viewpoint. The Bent Shovel has upgraded the place a little bit. Some of the old favorites... on the menu have been replaced, expected for new management. I found the Reuben good: adequate meat, light on sauerkraut, wellgrilled. The garlic fries were well seasoned. I would not get them again, they were too garlicky for me. The regular frieswere great. The new menu and new chef rock! Everything we ordered was amazing! The prices were a great value. Food was what we would... expect to eat at a downtown upscale restaurant but is right here is Estacada. We will be more frequent customers now for sure! Read more

This place was fun despite a lack of staff. The owner was there and working hard. It has a huge amount of space both outside... and an interior restaurant. The food was good. The beer was solid if not amazing. Had some fun conversations with locals atthe bar. Nice spot to stop after Milo McIver. Read more

So we arrived early and picked a table. Set our coats down. Then a larger group came in and wanted our table mind you it was a... small table for 2 people. They asked us to move and so we went to a booth. We weren't getting waited on so we went up to thebar. They basically told us to sit down and they would be with us soon. They did come pretty quickly, but I ordered a pull porksandwich. I wanted to sub fries or tater tots and was told no it comes with potatoes salad, or Cole slaw, which both have saucethat contains eggs. I am allergic to eggs. They must of read our review. They came out with some tater tots and a free drinkafter we were finished eating. We will give them another try later in the summer. I really liked the band they had and theydid try to make it up. Really disappointed! Gone there for years with ups and downs. New owners now. Raised prices immediately, limited hours open... and not enough wait staff. Understand the difficulty getting help these days but.... Went there on taco night. One waitressworking. Rudely shoved our meal down and NEVER came back. Bartender closed out our bill.
