We had a fantastic meal here last night! The food was incredible and prepared to perfection. The staff was courteous,... professional and kind. The owner greeted our table and it was a delight to talk with him about his passion for Italian cuisine, the different regions in Italy, and his love for the community here in Estero. We will definitely be back again. I highlyrecommend Ristorante Farfalla for the delicious Italian food and the charming dining experience! Read more

You only have one time to make a first impression and RISTORANTE FARFALLA blew it! E-X-T-R-E-M-E-L-Y overcrowded dining area... with tables no more than inches apart. So crowded and so loud my wife and I could not have a conversation. Then our server,Michael, was very late coming to greet us, never told us about specials (but he did later for other tables around us), deliveredour appetizer 30 minutes after we ordered it and then rushed our entrees soon thereafter. My wife ordered the salmon well doneand it came nearly raw and needed to be sent back. My pasta was very much under-cooked as well! Obviously the kitchen doesn'tknow how to cook properly. Then the prices were high but surprisingly the food had decent flavor. But with everything elsethey ruined on our first impression, there won't be a second chance. I think you can do better at another "fine" dining ItalianRestaurant. Read more

I will begin by stating that I gave one star because it’s as low as I could go. We went as a family during the coldest night... in Florida in years and my father in law was told to remove his hat while seated. This place is far from a fine diningrestaurant and we have gone to many and never experienced anything like it. Perhaps the chef prepares everything low in salt andgrease but everything we ordered was tasteless. The risotto was the worst ever and had no cheese. The oldest person thatwelcomes you had a very bad attitude and kept interrupting us while eating and it felt as if they were watching everything wewere doing. The prices are high for what they offer and the quality of food is very poor. To resume, if you are used to godining to high end places, don’t waste your time and money there, I’m sure there are many other options and even fast foodplaces would be a better choice. Read more

This was our first time here. The man who met us at the door and showed us to our table (I assume the owner) was friendly and... very well mannered. He introduced us to our server named Jen, and had the staff remove extra place settings from thetable. Jen, our server, was knowledgeable and patient while reciting the day's specials, and helping with recommendations. Allduring our meal she was attentive to our needs without being disruptive to the conversation. The meal itself was wonderful, mywife had one of the veal dishes while I enjoyed the chicken. We split a creme brule for dessert that was excellent. Theatmosphere is quite pleasant and lighting is low, which seems to add intimacy. The noise level seemed to grow as the placefilled up, but that is expected. The feel is upscale with being too much so. Overall, we enjoyed our meal immensely, and willvisit here again when we come back to Fort Myers. I highly recommend. Read more

Fantastic service, excellent cuisine, elegant dining. Small cozy atmosphere but plenty of room between tables.

First time visit with one of my best friends and the restaurant was celebrating their 23 year anniversary! Congratulations! The... hostess greeted us immediately and we were seated. The space is elegant, clean, and inviting. The kitchen has an open view, where the chef/owner creates every dish with his team. The waitress explained the specials with great detail and was very kind. The menu has many great choices. We ordered the lobster bisque which was fantastic! Very savory and served hot. Ordered the babyspinach salad, which included gorgonzola, strawberries and pine nuts, tossed in grapeseed oil. The waitress forewarned us it wasa large salad and offered to split it so my friend and I could share. The portions were perfectly divided. We ordered the seabass special, served with scalloped potatoes and vegetables. The sea bass was cooked perfectly. The scalloped potatoes weregreat with just the right amount of cream. The vegetables had consistent texture with no sogginess. Portions were very filling, but we still managed to order the homemade tiramisu and Italian cheesecake. We split those too! It was completely worth it! Iwill absolutely return. Thank you for the great service and delicious food! Read more
