Had some interesting taco options. I got the carnitas tacos which were very good. We got chips and salsa and margarita. Portion... sizes were big, I could only finish 2 tacos. Rice and beans were extra and not that great. I was really impressed with the tacosand margarita though. Friendly and quick service. I would come back. Read more

The food was pretty good, not superb. My wife's vegetarian dish was excellent. The tres enchiladas had pretty good flavor, but... the sauces were not warm, a bit thick and dry, and the tortillas were microwaved and disintegrating. The appetizers were tasty, service was OK. It works for Estes, but I've had so much better. Read more

We have bison tacos, bison burger and steak fajitas. The food was very fresh and tasty. There was a 20 minute wait but they text... you when the table is ready so you can go walk along the river or browse I. Stores. The service was good and portions large. Read more

Overpriced, even for a tourist destination. No complimentary chips and salsa. You had to pay to add rice and beans to a taco... meal. Maybe standard for quick casual but not for a sit down restaurant. As an example, roughly 2 oz of guacamole with chipswas $9. Service was standard. Indoor seating seemed chaotic and loud, but the outdoor patio where we sat was nice. Foodranged from ok to mediocre at best. The food wasn't west coast Mexican or Tex-Mex, so I'm not sure exactly what it was goingfor. Sauces were bland. Everything seemed unauthentic. Three of us ordered a taco plate, enchilada plate, and a bowl. Seethe picture as an example. (1 of 3 chicken tacos) I'm sure there's much better options for Mexican food in Estes Park. Read more

Who would've thought a Mexican place in Estes Park could be this good. This place is a must stop. They have outdoor seating on... the river, and there aren't many options for that surprisingly. Their speciality cocktail is the blended Avocado Margarita, which was just delicious. Chips, salsa and queso was some of the best I've had. The Tres Enchiladas and Tacos were fantastic -try the bison, which was superb. Read more

Nice Mexican type food. Went based on Google reviews and we were not disappointed. The tacos were really good. The fish taco was... a home run. Flaky but soft shell and crispy cod filling. Others had good food and service was great. Read more

Me and my wife were on a little weekend getaway up here in Estes (which is so beautiful if you?re not familiar) and stumbled... across this cantina. I red the reviews out of curiosity and they were all pretty good. So of course we had to find out. We firstgot there, and the staff was amazing. They greeted us right away with nothing but smiles. I live in Denver and haven?t seen awelcoming smile like that in a while. It was a warm environment and all the staff were amazing and engaged with their customers.I ordered the rainbow trout, my daughter their kids chicken bowl, and my wife ordered a burger. Wow let me tell you, they blewit out of the water. This restaurant has the exquisite of fine dining and service, at really good prices. And honestly, youcan?t even put a price on an amazing environment like they have here. I?m willing to drive from Denver just to eat here. Withtodays gas prices even! Read more
