Great food! Got the bison burger with cheese and toppings with fries and the chili cheese bison dog with onion rings. We really... enjoyed everything! Very chill environment and basic setting. Very appealing atmosphere. Placing order was easy. Menu was well organized. Prices a bit exuberant but, this is in downtown... touristee Estes Park so... Staff was friendly, place was clean. There was plenty of seating available. Tables/chairs were cleanand comfortable. Our order was accurate, fresh and, tasted very good. Burgers tasted really juicy and fresh. My daughter ordereda grilled cheese. Was a large sandwich not, a cheap little make-at-home "white bread" sandwich. The walls were loaded with oldCoca Cola memorabilia that could have occupied me for hours. Also, at front was a large world map where visitors are able tostick a little on where they are from. We had high hopes for this place after a long day of hiking in RMNP. The other reviews led us here and while the burger was... decent, it certainly didn?t live up to the hype or expectation. We had the Baja burger and fries (their most popular) and itwas really good? just not $20 good. When you pay that much for a burger at a place that exclusively serves burgers, you expectsomething mind blowing. There was a lot going on with the burger and most seemed to work well together. The one thing theydidn?t nail was the actual burger patty. The bun, the toppings, the sauce? all solid but the patty was blah. Had me some chilli dogs here and fries. There was a bit of a wait in line but went really fast. Order was ready within 10... minutes. Dogs were juicy and fresh, fries were good as well. Dining room seating was available, place is a bit on the expensiveside but it's a nice treat. Read more
Quick and delicious restaurant. The burger variety was great and portions were gigantic. We hadn?t tried burgers here yet, but... decided that we like it better than another local burger restaurant. Pictured are the pizza burger, and the Swissmushroomburger. Will come back next visit to Estes with a quick lunch in mind! Read more
On our latest vacation to keystone CO we took a drive to the Rocky Mountain National Park and the States parks and decided to... stop here for some burgers best decision ever. Great service and food is so fresh people are so friendly. My kids love the pizzaburger and the fries are so good! Definitely recommend! Read more
We were in town after having been in the National Park, and we were hungry. From the outside, Penelope's looks pretty small, but... they have a good number of tables. We didn't have trouble finding a spot during lunch time. We ordered a few differenthamburgers and the Elk Brat. The food ended up being great. The portions were large, and the fries were delicious. Probably a warm take, but the highlight of my order at Penelope?s was their Parmesan fries! I?m not surprised that the burger... experience itself wasn?t great because most burger specialty restaurants don?t know how to cook an Impossible burger properly,but the toppings, presentation, and side of fries made it much better. The staff is so attentive and friendly and the differentbeef burger options were so tempting, I could drool thinking about it now. Whatever you do, don?t sleep on the fries. Read more
