I decided to give Ali Baba?s another try (the first time was a letdown) and gave the fish platter a go. I?m glad I went with... this dish because it was quite good! It was seasoned white fish filet marinated in lemon, garlic, cilantro and various spices. It?s served with a basic salad, hummus, tahini sauce and ?hot? sauce (the sauce is actually quite mild). I added a side ofgarlic potatoes. The whole thing was a nice medley of flavours. A nice tangy side from the tahini sauce and the turnips, a moreneutral side from the hummus and the spices and hot sauce balanced it all together. The fish was tender and had flavour and therice was quite good in the sense that it was night and day different compared to bland steamed white rice. Overall, I highlyrecommend this menu item. I work near by .. so decided to try out this new spot...  restaurant is old not recently renovated .. But food is excellent,... Try the fish platter . It was full and very delicious... gonna try they other options the next time . Very highly recommended Read more

The food is great but the Girl ( wearing Glasses ) is not . her shawarmas are like taco size - very less filing all she is... bothered about is speed- no standard portion control I ordered a platter - same thing - meat was little to none- i think sheputs the meat as per her wish and mood . sometime she will directly cut meat from the grill and serve you without putting onthe hot plate and cutting into small pieces . sometimes she will charge you for more than the board reads and give explanationshe is doing a job here and the price list she doesn't decide. no complaints with other staff and the way they make shawarma-except this girl. . also she comes across as rude to speak to - hope the owners read this and train her. Food is fresh and delicious. Salads are fresh and the garlic potatoes are delicious. I would highly recommend, on my last visit... they forgot to put the lemon juice in the tabouli. Read more

Great take out place (pre & during covid). Fast service, highly efficient staff & good portions. My location favs are their... lentil soup and pistachio baklava. Not sure about the cooks at the other locations, but these ones do a great job! Have beenhere twice and will keep coming! Read more

Staff is super friendly and usually very fast at getting your food to you. If there is a line up, they will offer you a samosa... while waiting too. I eat here often(3x week sometimes) as the food is awesome and the deals are outta this world any day of theweek.... Read more

The service is fast here but could be improved upon. I called ahead to place and order for pick up at a specific time for an... important lunch meeting. When I arrived the order hadn?t even been started yet (one of the employees had not shown up for hisshift and they were operating one person down). I understand that stuff like this happens and I am grateful that they stillmade the order (I was late for the lunch), but if they just called me to say they were busy I would have been able to get lunchsomewhere else.
