We plan to dine out at this restaurant with our family. We called numerous time before reaching there to confirm our reservation... but no one answered. We reached at restaurant 50 minutes before closing time and the employee girl taking orders refuse toaccommodate because she was in a hurry to wind up. Rude employee girl at front desk. Read more
Took my mom out to grab dinner for home. Discovered this place. Got to say the pricing is on point. Very reasonable. The food... was excellent. Got the Chicken Drumstick Dinner that comes with 4 drumsticks, a salad, naan, and spicy sauce. All for the dailyspecial for 7.99. Can't beat that! Did i mention the food was excellent? Mama approved it as well I got it for her and she's avery picky eater. She loved it. Oh and the front staff lady was very nice, patient and informative! The best Afghan kabob in Toronto, and possibly the best outside of Baghlan Afghanistan! Fresh, hot, and the best quality. The... portions are very generous and served up quickly. We had the Waziri kebab tonight and it was perfect. The taftun bread wasstraight out of the oven and so good! My husband has come many times with his coworkers and they share one of the generousplatters. Even at 8:00 on a Sunday night the takeout trade was very busy. Visited this location for the first time today and left with mediocre feelings. Had the Kabuli Pulao special and found it... underwhelming. The lamb was tender but the rice was lacklustre. The naan was good but it didn?t come with any dipping sauce. At least provide a small sized dipping sauce instead of none is my philosophy. I ordered an ?Afghan salad? as a side but wasunimpressed. Looked and tasted like any ol? salad you would find just about everywhere. Couldn?t see what was so ?Afghan?about it. All lastly, they really need to update their hours of operation. Google lists it with a 10 am opening but in factthey don?t open until 11:30 am. Minor inconvenience but still, not a good first impression. All in all, I?d not completelywrite them off just yet. Great experience, definitely recommended the food. Meat tasted really good. Wish to have some extra side sauces but beside that... it was good. Staff were very pleasant and polite even busy with a lot of orders. Would definitely will try their other dishes. Read more
Checked out this place recently, food was very very good! Got the meal including both beef and chicken kebabs, which came along... with the rice and salad. The rice flavour seemed simple but SO flavourful and interactions with staff were very knowledgeable.Would definitely recommend others to go here and will be returning myself. Read more
