Just had dinner this evening. I ordered the dumpling soup ( very light and flavorful/ dumplings delicious) and my partner the... pork bone stew. Both were GREAT. You could tell by the richness of flavour that everything was made fresh from scratch and withalot of love. Table next to us ordered Bibimbap and a tofu stew. Those looked and smelt amazing as well. The service was perfectas well. We highly recommend this restaurant Prices are very good as well Read more

Typically food is very good, but orderd though Uber and a mistake was made on their end. Asked for less Spicy soup and no egg,... but they gave me egg and regular spiced soup. They claimed that was not the case and they didn't make a mistake therefore madeno effort to fix the issue. Just keep in mind if you have an issue with your order and they made the mistake they won't help youfix it :) Read more

Service is good and cute. Food taste standard level. The problem is only little seafood in seafood soup and seafood pancake. For... the price of $14+ each dish, other restaurants in same level of style will have more. PS: I finished whole pancake Just to seehow many seafood actually in there. Not much in other dishes as well. BTW, On their menu, they said could switch beef with tofufor you with NO CHARGE, wow, thank you. Read more

Chaban used to be one of my favourite Korean restaurants 2 years ago. I went back yesterday for dinner, and the quality has... seriously declined. I?m so disappointed to say the least and I won?t be returning. There are so many much better koreanrestaurants in Toronto. The first thing I noticed was the banchan; they used to serve fish cakes and honey beans, but now theydo not. Their portion sizes have also gone down. I wasn?t full after having their dolsot bibimbap. Shortly after my meal, I gota really bad headache and stomach pains. All in all, just a bad experience. At least the server was nice and attentive. Great family-owned restaurant with attentive service and exceptional food. A must try for Korean food. I live 20 away but still... go to this restaurant to satisfy my craving for Korean food. My go-to dish is always the Pan Fried Yakki Udong Noodle withChicken. I like my food spicy so I always get it spicy and it?s DELICIOUS! Be careful though, Korean food can be quite spicy soif you can?t handle it, I suggest ordering it mild. The service every time is exceptional. Both the son and daughter (Ibelieve) are very attentive and make you feel at home. If you live in the area, this family definitely works hard to earn yourmoney and treats you with respect and kindness. A wonderful local business to support and grow old with. Read more
