Nice restaurant for south Indian cuisine in this area. Price is reasonable also taste is good enough as well... I liked their... filter coffee.. I can definitely come back again just for their coffee... one thing I was disappointed was their service. Thereare just 4 or 5 tables and still there were mess ups in delivering orders. They also served wrong dish to us, but we werealready running late and were so hungry we just ate it what we got instead of sending back and forth. But it's still worth visithere, good taste at reasonable price, especially if you don't want to travel all the to Mississauga or Brampton.... Read more

Best place to have South Indian food in town?. The staff is very welcoming. We are very much thankful to Shweta to serve us. The... taste of chutney and sambhar is authentic and mouth watering. Though that orange halwa was ok. Even the dosa was huge for one tofinish. We will surely visit again. Read more

Okay hear me out, the best richest sambar mixed with the softest idlis and crunchiest vadas. Can?t help but keep going back to... this spot. I highly recommend fried idli, sambar idli vada combo and filter coffee. The dosas were crispy and perfect. 1001%worth the price. Read more

We went in for dinner and although the staff was friendly and the service was timely and adequate, the food was a little... disappointing. We ordered medu vada, puri, butter masala roast and mysore masala dosa. The dosas themselves were crispy andnice but the masala in the dosa and the sambar were a little bland. The vada was a little over-salted and felt raw. The puriswere okay. Another disappointment was that the food was served in paper plates and styrofoam cups, not at allenvironment-friendly. Overall, it was a decent place but not the best dosas I've had. Read more

Despite the name of this establishment, I strongly suggest to stick with the traditional dosas such as the Spicy Kara Masala... Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa and if you?d like something spicy but off the beaten pass, the Schezwan Masala Dosa. Other than theSchezwan Masala Dosa, the dosas with ?twists? somehow feels like they are missing some form of flavours elevation that you wouldexpect from a South Indian dish. After trying some of the paneer and egg dosas from one of their ?twists?, I was skeptical aboutthe Schezwan Masala Dosa that was recommended to me by the front staff as a spicier alternative to the Spicy Kara Masala Dosathat was sold out for the night. However, the lady was very spot on with her suggestion as the Schezwan Masala Dosa was indeedspicier and an only exception to the rest of the ?twists? they had on the menu. For the price, you do get a big portion of Dosathat seems to very reasonable for the standards within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) these days. Each Dosa comes with aSambhar, coconut chutney, tomato chutney and a dessert serving of ?Kesari?. The sambhar here is very flavourful whichcomplements the dosas very well. The chutneys do carry some heavy tastes but they are unfortunately heavily shortchanged bybeing served colder than room temperature. Not to forget their filter coffee in the drinks menu, that it although comes outfrom a machine, it still meets reasonable expectations. Read more

Hidden gem!! My boyfriend and I were in the neighbourhood after getting our vaccination and were craving some feel-good Indian... food. So glad we decided to try this small south Indian joint. The staff was pleasant and welcoming. We ordered the ghee masalarava, ghee roast dosa and aloo tiki chaat. The dosas were outstanding, dripping with ghee (just how I like it). The sambhartasted authentic and so did the chutneys. Each portion came with a white chutney, red chutney, sambhar and sweet halwa. Theyalso offered to give us extra of those upon no charge. The aloo tiki could have been better as the tiki wasn't fried and lackedflavour but the chutneys on the chaat were quite good. The prices were very economical too (some of the cheapest inToronto). Highly recommend. Read more
