Tried this place on a whim tonight as I was craving Thai food. It was the best decision. The food is spot-on flavour wise. Not... to mention a great value. Try them out! Read more

The price is not expensive but the flavour is very boring. The Thai milk tea is super sweet and the syrup taste very cheap. I... won?t come again and rather spend money on the more expensive restaurant. Read more

Had the Green curry chicken lunch special with mango salad and spring roll. Mango salad was one of the best I?ve ever had (rlly... nice ground up peanuts). Green curry chicken had a nice assortment of vegetables as well (could have been a bit spicier andtangy). Portion sizes were large and well worth the price. Read more

Food - We ordered the lunch special pineapple and green curry which comes with rice, spring roll and mango salad/ soup. It was... tasty and flavorful. It was definitely worth $10! I would recommend coming during lunch time :) - The Thai Iced Tea was also sodelicious and only $2.50 Service - The waitress was attentive and sweet! Overall, it was affordable with good food andservice! Note: the restaurant is small so if you ever wanted to go with a big group I would recommend calling ahead of time :) Read more

This was the worst Thai food I?ve ever had. Nothing about it was flavourful or fresh. I read a few reviews and decided to try it... out. I got the Pineapple curry, pad Thai and ?Oh my I can?t decide appetizer?. The pad Thai was old looking and smelt like oldoil, it tasted like soya sauce and the shrimp was grey. I did not eat the shrimp out of fear of getting sick. The curry wascoconut milk mixed with red curry paste and canned pineapple with rubbery chicken. The fresh rolls were falling apart and werejust stuffed full of iceberg lettuce, by far the worst fresh rolls I have had. There are lots of great Thai restaurants inEtobicoke, look elsewhere. You have to try this restaurant ASAP!! :) If I could give 10 stars, I would!! My husband and I ordered from this restaurant for... the first time last week, and I am kicking myself for waiting so long to try it out. This is my new FAVOURITE Thairestaurant!!!!! Having lived downtown for over a decade, I've tried so many different Thai restaurants. My Thai Kitchen ishonestly the best tasting Thai food all-around compared to all the downtown Thai restaurants that I've tried over the years (andI'm not exaggerating)! We ordered the calamari, spring rolls, ginger beef, golden chicken curry and garlic shrimp. I loved ALLdishes equally, and would order them again in a heartbeat. Next time, we will try other dishes just for variety, but I have fullconfidence that we will love them all the same. I was really impressed with the flavour of the curry - it's often tricky tofind a restaurant that has just the right amount of spices in their curry... it's often too spicy!! The golden curry has theperfect amount and has an abundance of flavour and aroma. The calamari was some of the best we've ever had (including fromItalian restaurants)! As a bonus, there was a bit of mango salad on the side - that was unexpected! A tip for future customers,if you're like me and love rice, just know that their portions are HUGE! I got 2 orders thinking that they might be like somerestaurants that give you a tiny portion of rice per order, but it's not the case for My Thai Kitchen. One order of rice is morethan enough for two people to eat a full dinner and full lunch the next day. The portions for each dish are good - you won't bedisappointed with the value for your money! I also want to mention how I was already looking forward to eating leftovers afterI ate to my hearts' content. I can't wait to order from here again and really look forward to actually being able to dine at therestaurant too so I can meet the owner. :) Read more
