WOW!!! OUCH!!!! I have never come across a situation like this before! During these times we have all heard about the thing... called Shrinkflation. That’s where a retailer charges the same price but decreases volume of product you are getting. We’ve also heard about companies raising prices because of the times. This place not only exercises Shrinkflation but alsoreally increases the price to an excess compared to items from the previous menu. Here are some real-life examples. Egg Rolewas $1.50 and now $1.80 each a 20% increase. Spicy Chicken Wings form $12.75 now $15.99 a 25.41% increase. BBQ Sliced Pork for$8.99 now $$11.99, a 33.37% increase. Sweet and Sour Spareribs for $8.99 now $11.99 again a 33.37%. Gow Lo Yuk was 9.99 and now$13.75 up 37.64%. Young Chow Fried Rice was $9.95 and now $13.99 up a whopping 40.60%! My favorite is they use to have 12 Sweetand Sour Chicken Balls per order for $11.95 and now they have 11 Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls for $13.99 a 17.07% increase andless food! They may explain that prices for everything are now, up but this is extreme. From what I can see every menu item isup, way up!! Expect to pay a lot more on every order. Read more

Food here was delicious! Best I found elsewhere in Ontario by far! I was able to have a wonderful visit with my family and not... feel at all rushed by our wonderful waitress to order or eat the wonderful food. Look forward to returning with more of myfamily soon. Read more

I only started ordering from New Flower Drum over the past year or so and wish I had tried them sooner. I mistakenly thought... they were more of a bar than a restaurant at first but should have looked harder. The owners are so incredibly nice andremember me when I call and are happy to see me when I pick up. The food is always incredibly hot and fresh. The portions arereally good and 3 items can make at least 4-5 meals for me easily. They also have combo plate specials for 1 around $10 so youcan try a few different things in smaller portions. I’m glad they’ve stuck around for so long and it really is the bestChinese food in the area in my option. I enjoy it more than Mai Mai and Ruyi garden. I usually keep it simple and go for friedrice and a stir fry. The broccoli dishes here are always so good with lots of it which is nice and are the perfect amount ofcrunchy still. I always feel appreciated no matter how small my order is and that’s saying something compared to some of theother restaurants on this street. Read more

Went with friends for a late evening quick pick up. We ordered sweet and sour spare ribs, Singapore rice noddle, beef broccoli... stir fry and sesame beef szechuan style. The service was fast and efficient. Me and my friends we loved the Singapore ricenoddle.. It is very close to authentic. Good portion too. Spare ribs did not feel like spare ribs at all.
