Wife/I have always wanted to stop in here & good we did! Food was delish & great selections/variety. The $30 price point was... fair/reasonable. Tiffany & Robbie’s service was exceptional & so was the young lady bringing food to our table (I think shewas training because she didn’t have name tag- but she was great!) Kim was also very good/attentive. Lee was not as welcomingas a Hostess should be-but it was suffice. She just seemed rushed…. The only bone of contention was the fact that the padThai lacked any taste & was sour. My wife loves pad Thai but returned it-sadly. All in all a great experience. I would give it4.5/5 ?? Read more

Service - 5 Food - 3 Value for money - 4 I wish I could rate these two things separately in Google Reviews. The service here... was phenomenal - all the staff are super friendly, very efficient, and very attentive. Despite the place being decently full, Inever felt like we really had to flag someone down. Always coming to take away plates and refill our water, etc. Food also cameout pretty quickly The food on the other hand I'd say is okay. Anything fried is 80% batter 20% whatever you ordered. The shortribs are the lone shining star of the menu in my opinion. The rest of the food is essentially things you would get at acafeteria Chinese/Thai food place. Sashimi was nice and fresh and the plating of it is very nice. I think if the price pointwas a little bit lower I would consider it decent value for money to come here, but I do feel it is on the more expensive end. Read more

Service was on the slow side, which is why I gave 4 stars. The food is excellent and worth waiting for however. Sashimi is... fresh and arrives on a bed of ice so you can take your time to enjoy. There are items on the menu not seen at other AYCErestaurants like tataki. Small plates let you try just about anything without too much stress about trying to finish; which youshould keep in mind to avoid the surcharge for wasting food. We also ordered a nice sake and it came with its own icebucket. All the food came with fantastic presentation and delicious to boot. I would recommend ordering everything you want inthe beginning to avoid waiting too long between 'courses'. We aren't the type of people who want to stuff ourselves until wehave to be rolled out, so we chose a handful of dishes we really wanted to try sporadically. They were very busy which may havecontributed to the wait, so choose your strategy according to your eating style. While it is on the expensive side theexperience is worth it for a treat or special occasion. Staff are dressed in all black and the interior is fancy as well, lending to a very different feeling than a hole in the wall AYCE sushi place. Read more

We came back this weekend for the first time since the pandemic hit. Very disappointed that although they have decided to charge... more for the all you can eat they’ve taken many things off the menu. We went for dinner and it was back to being busy. On thebright side the food which we had was tasty. If you have a sweet tooth and like bananas try the fried banana with ice cream. Read more

I really love spoon and fork. We usually go for the all you can eat once a year. It's a bit on the pricy side but everything we... order has such great flavour and is made fresh for you. This time we came for my mother's birthday. Anyone celebrating abirthday recieves a 50% discount. They gave her a slice of cake and sang a song. It was nice. The service is good however theysometimes forget to bring out things you order as they write them down vs ordering from a tablet (for example) We didn't mindwaiting a bit longer as the food comes at various times. The spare ribs are great and the peanut chicken sauce is reallygood. The downside - there are only 2 desert options. I believe red bean balls and ice cream (vanilla or chocolate) If theyadded a couple of more options I would honestly change my review to 5 stars. Read more

I came here with my family. This place is used to be very good and popular but not any more. I found the food quality is not as... fresh and not many choices. We love sashimi but we only order 1 dish because we found they are not tasty. The server was nicesince she keep asking us if we want anything else. We finished 95% of the food and left few sashimi on the plate but one of theserver said we need to finish 100% otherwise they will charge for the food left over. I found it’s so funny since we didn’torder a lot and we try to eat all. But I told her that the food is not fresh, we don’t want to over eat and get sick when weget home. Anyhow, they even call the manager to come out to explain about the food cost is very expensive so they try toenforce the policy to all customers. We didn’t want to argue in front of our parents and our kids so me and my brother justsplit all the food left over to make them happy. Hahaha, we even give tips after all the trouble. We are not so smart. Are wecoming back? FOR SURE NO WAY. We have many sushi restaurant in Toronto to chose from. TO MANAGEMENT: please be flexible andthe customers are still the one who pay the bills, so make them happy instead of pissing them off. By the way, I hate to givebad review since most of my review is 5*. But in your case I want to share my experience so that you guys can improve and getbetter. Read more
