I'm done with Swiss Chalet and recipe unlimited after this experience. I had a horrible experience a month ago where their app... (which is archaic for tracking) said the food was 5 mins away for a good 75mins. We couldn't wait that long and ended up noteating the food that arrived as we had kids sports. The manager offered me a credit which I found out today was only $10. Ijust tried again to order delivery , the app (once again said a delivery time of 4:57, but as of 5:12 has not arrived). triedcalling the location. - no answer. Not sure how any family could order delivery from this location without having a 50/50 chanceat best of getting a meal. You have zero visibility into when it's coming, if it comes at all. Very sad. I hadnt eaten all day and thought I deserved a treat. My favorite thing is the festive dinner from Swiss Chalet and i... got none during thanksgiving. I drove to this location after finishing my 12 hour work shift and pre ordered the festive dinnerso i could pick it up and bring home to enjoy. I got home and there was no stuffing or cranberry sauce ???? the fries weremediocre and safe to say i wont be ordering from here for a while Read more
Everything was great. Only thing that we found Inappropriate was our server Flora was wearing plastic gloves throughout the... whole time she was serving us. She was pick up dirt stuff off the tables than serving us our food and drinks with them. As aserver you should not be wearing gloves & washing your hands regularly. The bloor street location in etobicoke has been there for as long as I can remember. Yesterday my teenager and I decided to go... for dinner. We walked in and were seated pretty quickly. We were given menus...a family came in 5 minutes later and were seated.After 20 minutes we still had not had our order taken but the family that came in after us had. There we're only 2 servers.Finally our order was taken. Our server was a nice lady who apologized. After about another 20 minutes our food came.we ate.Then it was a chore to get our bill. Flora is absolutely wonderful! My stepson passed away and our family was celebrating after the funeral. 12 of us showed up... around 4pm on Thursday August 16th. Flora was gracious, understanding, a pleasure to talk too and an excellent waitress whocares very much! Flora you made our day a little less painful. Thank you from our hearts ???? Very poor service. Table was filthy and when we asked for it to be cleaned waitress looked at us weird. When we asked for our... drinks my coffee cup looked like it was never washed. We just got up and left for a much better Swiss chalet on Bloor Streetnear Parklawn Rd. Friendly clean and was a pleasure to eat there. I was hoping to resolve this issue with the restaurant directly, but no one answers the phone no matter how many times you call.... Customer service also failed to connect with them after several attempts. I ordered for delivery. My order was missing frenchfries and a slice of pie. The receipt showed that whomever packed the order did not mark fries off to show they were put intobag. Pies were crossed off but only received one. I also ordered the new Nashville Hot Chicken Tenders Meal. The tenders aresupposed to have a glaze on them. I received dried up tenders sitting on a soggy piece of white bread with a spoonful ofcoleslaw on top. The entire order arrived cold and it was not very appetizing. I had hoped to get issue resolved the same nightso we could have had a nice meal, but as mentioned, it?s impossible to get someone to answer the phone. Read more
Feels very early 2000's inside (fun for a little nostalgia). Got the holiday special which was pretty good. My vegetables were... still raw but my boyfriend's were cooked properly. The chocolates are a nice touch. Read more
