Beautiful landscape!! Nice people!! Really nice wine!! Good experiences!!

Bluejacket Crossing is a picturesque winery with outstanding wines. It is very peaceful to relax with a glass of one of their... superb wines surrounded by beautiful vineyards and meadows. My husband and I enjoy talking a picnic lunch there and listening totheir live music. One of the owner's, 'Pep' is a vintner and viticulturist who is a master at his craft. Their wines are someof the very best in the area. I especially appreciate the friendly and knowledgeable staff. Ask them about the history of theBluejacket Crossing on the Wakarusa River: that entire area is rich in the history of the Oregon Trail. Terrible ambiance. Rude host. Took 15 minutes to acknowledge our party while chatting with a couple. We were given zero... information about the winery or what we were drinking. Two out of six of the wines were out and we were not given a choice for asubstitute.Wine was horrible. Honestly, I?m glad that it was the last winery we had went to today. Small, quiet and super cute. They have great wine and 3 very well behaved dogs. Pets and outside food are allowed!

Probably the best red wines in KS. Beautiful venue with views of the vineyard. Bring your cheeses and crackers or picnic meal.... The owners are very accommodating. Great for groups of friends. Walk through the vineyard or just sit and sip. Prices are quitereasonable with discounts on case purchases. Highly recommended. Read more

I love that northeast Kansas can support a winery like Bluejacket! I don?t typically love Kansas wines, but Bluejacket makes... some pretty decent red and white varieties. My favorites are the Chambourcin and the Vignoles. They make a pretty solid Rosétoo! I help every year with the late summer harvests, and we also try to do a little picnic here every spring and fall. Theyhave a great tasting space, which would be a wonderful place to have a wedding reception year-round. They even have anAirbnb! Bluejacket is a fine winery to advance the world of Kansas/Midwest wine and is a treasure for Lawrence, Eudora, andDouglas County! Read more
