Typically busy on a Saturday and we had a larger group so a bit more of a wait but they were nice and accommodating. The staff... was great. My friend had dietary restrictions and though it took longer they made her dish as asked with no complaints. Thefood was good. BJ’s is usually our go to restaurant when we come to town. The food is good and the beer is too. There has been lots of... changes to their menu and food portions. Although good food, and our waitress was good she just couldn’t wait to see her tipbefore we left and Didn’t clear our table as we finished our beers she just wanted our ticket. Went for lunch a few weeks ago with my sister who was visiting from out of town. We ordered nachos for an appetizer and burgers... for our meals. The meat for the nachos was not even close to being cooked. My sister loves her beef rare and even she wouldn'teat it. I asked for a side of tomatoes with the nachos and didn't get them. I got diced up tomatoes with my cheeseburger though!We asked for boxes, which is usually an indicator that we were finishing up and would want the check. The server dissappearedafter bringing our boxes. We waited 20 minutes for her to finally come back and had to ask for the check. She brought it andwalked off AGAIN, even though we had the card waiting on the edge of the table. It took another 10 minutes for her to comeback. I apologized to my sister and explained that the 2 previous times my husband and I had eaten there, the food and servicewere great. I felt that it must have been a bad day for our server. My husband and I went in tonight at 7:26pm and were seated. We looked over the menu and hadn't been greeted by anyone to ask about drink orders. We saw several servers pass us and askeveryone around us for their orders. I looked at my clock and we had been there for 10 minutes already. We decided we wouldgive it a few more minutes. After 18 minutes of waiting with no service, we left. We were kindly offered a "good night" fromthe 3 employees standing around chatting in the lobby. Read more
Great food. Good drinks. Brennan who was my bartender is smart and has a lot of potential. One thing he could improve on is... not focusing on just one conversation with only one patron. Overall a totally great experience. I hope that they are payingattention to the possibilities they have for employees Edit: I dined there again tonight one day after my review. Myexperience was absolutely horrible. Chris was the bartender. He proved to be one of the worst I have experienced in theindustry. Food was mediocre. I was not given the specials which had I known what it was I would have ordered instead. I satwaiting to even be recognized. I had a ribeye with mashed potato on the side, and tomato soup for the appetizer. The tomato ???? soup was greatly cooked. I had... a ribeye a medium was perfectly grilled in good temperature but the mashed potato was average simple. I wish was little bitsmoother and seasoned. It was alright. For the price I could still do better at home. This Prim Rib was supposed to be medium rare, not medium. The... green beans were old and Woody. They tried to hide the fact with too much lemon squeezed over them. For the price it would havebeen nice to have been given a little bit more lettuce in my salad (not seen in the image) and a little bit more potatoes toround out my mashed potatoes. Just saying. Our meal cost our family 3 hours of pay for the two of us. People making closerminimum wage it would have been 4.5 to 5 hours to pay for this meal for two. Take two. Not much better. Cold soup.
