The cheese platter means “a single slice of cheese”, which came as a dessert with a dollop of the same mustard that showed... up far too often and in too large a quantity on other dishes. The fried chicken dish did not include a breast piece, just a drumstick and a thigh piece almost too bony to find the meat. The food arrived as it was ready, which works for a tapas-style jointbut not for two couples trying to have four separate main courses together. Read more
Mark and Tiffany run a great restaurant! We've loved them since the Party cart and continue to love it to this day. This... evening we had a lovely meal on the back patio--feels like a lovely intimate space. Our group opted for tons of small plates,including padron peppers, party pickles, black garlic bread with Dungeness crab, oysters, and fried chicken. Each item wasdelicious and decadent. I ended taking home the Basque cheesecake--so fluffy and hit the spot. The service is always top notchat this spot--they do make you feel like your part of the family. Read more
Fun, upbeat, excellent service. We felt attended to by multiple people on the staff. The food is clearly crafted from high... quality ingredients, this I like. Some acoustic tiles would do the place nicely, and still maintain the raucous joy-centricatmosphere. I would return to try other items on the menu. We enjoyed the oysters, served plainly. By far one of my top 3 restaurants here in Eugene. Selfishly, I hope it doesn’t get too much attention because it’s so good.
Love this place! Comparable to The vintage. It has an extensive wine list, which is what really sold me! Their Zinfandel by the... bottle is fantastic. Their food is delicious. The mac and cheese was the best mac and cheese I've had in awhile. The portionsare small for the appetizers but they are decently priced. Their veggie burger is a mushroom bean patty that is absolutelydelicious (although you do get charged extra for cheese, avocado, bacon, etc). Their cocktails are fun and change with theseasons. They have outdoor seating with a heat lamp for the cold weather. I would skip the carrots though and just get extra macand cheese because like I said it's sooooo good. Read more
